Why might be the cause of it running rich?? not enough back pressure?? if anybody has any ideas or thoughts lets here them. Wanna make sure I know what I might be getting into with this problem if I buy the car. Thanks

I'm going to be buying a 55k One owner car, its a 1984-1985 Daytona Turbo Z with the optional shelby suspension. I have some liquid filled never been out of the box DC gauges that i plan to install that were made for the car. The car limits at 7lbs of boost i believe, that deems it an '84. I don't really desire to swap the engine out of it beause i'd like to drive it daily (I don't drive all that far). So i'd like to run the mods that i think would work well, and see what everyone thinks is best and most cost effective for me.

I was thinking a TE04 Turbo (do i need the manifold too?) & an 88 1 piece intake manifold from an 88 minus the air charge sensor (If i did my research correctly) I was thinking a set of talon injetors (if so what CC am i looking for) and a manual boost controller (Wondering if i can omnit an AFPR to save on cost. I also have a stock T2 intercooler/radiator set-up that i was considering using.

I don't want to use the diode trick or any of that, Just wondering if the 1 piece will give me an increase over a stock T2 one piece. or is the only difference the hole for the air charge sensor?

Any other specific advice for things i should look at on the car? It appears to be pretty solid and completely original.

I'd also like to convert to 5 lugs for use of wagon wheels but am completely unsure of what exactly is needed for that.

Any help would be appreciated, This car sort of fell into my lap and its in amazing shape but i know very little about setting up a T1 for a little extra umph. Not sure the stock 146 will cut it for me. Also, Anyone know if i'm working with a 525 or 555, the lady said it was cable shift but i'm not 100% on her credibility.

OK, What I would like to do is get around 300 HP from a stock looking (restored) 87 GLHS Charger. I am going through the motor now and aside from a roller cam, (better idol no performance gain) and forged pistons the motor is going to be pretty stock. I would consider an electronic exhaust dump for flow, (kinda like the idea of straight through flow), and like the idea of meth injection, and it has a stage 2 computer. But what I would really like is someone with TD knowledge to say, "This is what you need to do" I found one can save alot of time and money with a proven plan. Any ideas welcome, thanks in advance! Also what is max boost with no port work, K&N in stock air box, on a stock T2 GLHS turbo?

Hi Guys, haven't been around for a while been doing bodywork on the turbo van. Just curious, has antyone ever swapped the 2.5 long duration NA cam into the turbo motor? Seems that the LD cam would make a bit more power, however drivability might suffer at low rpms. Any thoughts? Thanks
