It's an a523 or an a568(I think the cables are the same.). I need one of the cables. But I know that you won't want to separate them so, I'll prolly take both.
WARNING: I need them CHEAP!!! The trans came from a 1990 Shadow.

I thought it was an a568. However, some people are telling me otherwise. They say it might be an a523. Can someone tell me what I've got? It came out of a non-turbo 1990 Shadow:







If anyone knows, that would be great. Also, if it's an a523, can I still install it in my GLHS?
And will it perform well?

when you start it it start slow like it has a load on it, when you put it in R the wheels turn forward then stop, if you put it N or D it will go forward. try to drive it down the road and it will go into N after about 30 mpr(only in N in D it stays in gear) but after you drive it if you try to put it in R or P it wil kill the engine and in order to get it to start you will have to put it in D and let the starter move the truck till it starts.

I put a bar on my socket wrench's handle and was standing bouncing up and down on it and still nothing! The bearing on my intermediate shaft decided to call it quits and the bearing has chewed up the intermediate shaft. I need to know where I can find a new one. and what tranny i can get a new one from.

My tranny case was a A520 and the internals were aparently from a A555

From looking in the knowledge centre my intermediate shaft looks the same as a 87-88 520.

Does this shaft work with the A555 gears? or did they guy who sell me the car just tell me they were in there and they are not.
