when you start it it start slow like it has a load on it, when you put it in R the wheels turn forward then stop, if you put it N or D it will go forward. try to drive it down the road and it will go into N after about 30 mpr(only in N in D it stays in gear) but after you drive it if you try to put it in R or P it wil kill the engine and in order to get it to start you will have to put it in D and let the starter move the truck till it starts.

when you drive it the trans shifts well starts in low and shifts out to OD just fine but seems to be stuck there in all other gears aswell.:bang head

I know the change numbers when a slight mod is done from factory. Also what is the diffucult level of rebuilding one for the first time. Mine has 126,000 but, i am pushing about 275 to 300 h.p to it. I also know that howellautomotive.com has the main parts. I also want to have very streetable for everyday use.

I've read on here about a few people who had the same problem as me.
The bearing on my intermediate shaft decided to call it quits and the bearing has chewed up the intermediate shaft. I need to know where I can find a new one. and what tranny i can get a new one from.

My tranny case was a A520 and the internals were aparently from a A555

From looking in the knowledge centre my intermediate shaft looks the same as a 87-88 520.
http://www. turbo - mopar /forums/vb...e&articleid=80

Does this shaft work with the A555 gears? or did they guy who sell me the car just tell me they were in there and they are not.

The same thing that happened to these guys as what happened to me
http://www. turbo - mopar /forums/sh...ad.php?t=32202

Quick re-cap
-What intermediate shaft will work? out of what car, I do have a 86 Shelby one around.
- Should I replace all the bearings?
- anything else that I should do?
Cheers
