A 95ish Jetta was awaiting my arrival at the light.

It was Veterans day night, about 10:30 P.M. On a residential road in Port Saint John Fl. Cops are always heavy down this road and i knew it, but im an idiot.

Anyway he saw me and laughed, and then i lost self control. 3K launch i take him off the line, racing through some s curves, in front of him the whole time apparently a cop watches the whole thing, this guy dips off quick, i have no where to go. I get pulled for and pinched for 35 over, the only reason i got caught and not him is because I "won".

Now thee is a long story behind the whole thing, i wont get into it, but I made a dumb decision, and now i have to pay for it. I have no job, my car is a build it as i get cash type deal, and I have court on the 30th, and im sure my luck will have it that the cop has some tragic tie to street racing.

Now I'm stuck, the possibility of losing my license at 17 is killing me, and the possible fines are too.

Im now strongly considering the whole keep racing on the track thing.

Be smart if you do decide to race, I mean if theres a honda just asking for it, and you have to give it too him, dont be stupid like i was.

But on a lighter note, im quite surprised my $200 worth of mods kept a jetta of any kind behind me. I guess im putting time and money in the right places.

But trust me, you can be the biggest hard ass on the street, think you're above everything and then see those blue strobes behind you and then it really opens up your eyes to whats really up.

I get this ricer in a Subaru on my ass one night. He has a buddie filming in the passenger seat. Looks like typical ricer Subaru. Big wing, fart can, tinted glass, stickers all over it. At the light we both take off he pulls a fender on me due to all wheel drive. I hit third and wave goodbye as I pass. Next light cop is sitting in the median looking the other way. Dumbass wants to go again. I asked him this; "Don't you know?" I say

"know What?" ricer replies
"all imports SUCK!"
"FU neon owner!"
I rev my engine just a little. Light turnes green and he floors it. Cop pulls him over and when I drive by I say to the cop he has been driving like and idiot for miles wanting to race me. Cop says "Really?" I go down to the next turn a round and come back. Ricer is spread eagle on the trunk of the police car with his friend. I beeped my horn and went home. I would drive but he dont seem to care how many tickets he gets so that makes it more fun. Anyway It all started 2 weekends ago we we brought my white 91 Shelby(stock TIII not very fast) and this 01 Mustang with a bunch of bolt ons and a Kenne Bell supercharger wanted to race us. It had some big Weld wheels on the back with some ET Street tires and some skinnys on the front. I said no pretty sure you would kill us but I will be back in like an hour and a half with another Daytona to race you. He had somewhere to go so that didnt work. The last weekend we brought it and he wasnt around. So last night we show up and all the people were waiving us into this parking lot there the Stang was. So I got out and asked him what he had and he said a Kenne Bell charger running 12PSI. So we agreed to do a highway run(my car has nothing in the first 3 gears but tire smoke) so we headed out.

So 55MPH,3 honks,im in 3rd he gets about a car on us and then the boost hits about 27PSI and stays there. I spun the tires for like maybe 10 feet or so and it hooked and started to pass him. Shifted out of 3rd at 7500 and into 4th we drove away. Held her down till 7500 again in 4th and we had about 3 or 4 cars on him. My speedo is wrong in that car so I use a GPS for MPH and that said 139MPH for the top speed! We slow down and pull into another lot and he comes over and says WOW lets see under the hood. So I show him and say its just a stock turbo of an 06 Cummins lol. Anyways pretty excting race we got alot of respect from the guys in that town after beating the "fastest Mustang around" lol LOSER!
