A buddy of mine just purchased a nearly pristine white '90 Shelby Daytona with the 2.5 TI and auto trans. The car is beautiful, especially for being in PA so long. The paint is peeling on the driver's side door, but that's the only real imperfection. I think only having 90k on the OD and being garaged winters explains a lot. Anyway, I've been trying to get him to join the forum. He's owned two V6 Shadow ES's so he's no stranger there, but he is new to the turbo side. He asked me if a '93 front bumper and headlights will swap out. I personally like the pop-ups, but he doesn't and he wants them updated. I told him it should change over on any model year. The Daytona wasn't one of those vehicles that went through extensive face lifts, so I'm thinking one should be able to take a '93 front end and stick it on say an '85 if they really wanted too. Could someone back me up on this?

Was there a center taillight fascia piece that was used on the euro cars that accepted a wide tag? I think it makes the back end of the baron look sweet! Like an FC3S 'vert. Anybody have any information on this? And if it's a swap-in part, anyone have one?

I tried making the link work, but it's not, for whatever reason.. Can anyone assist?

Type the title "Chrysler LeBaron 2.2L Turbo Engine Test" into YouTube.

Thanks!

Hey Guys, I'm planning on upgrading to larger rims to accommodate larger brakes and better tires and as such I'm stuck with a choice; aftermarket or factory rims? I shall be keeping my 4 lug bolt pattern, so the choices are fairly limited as per stock rims, but I have wide variety of aftermarket ones to chose from.

I've narrowed it down a either 4 lug pizza rims, which conveniently are currently for sale atm, or a set of eBay "special" rims; Nippon Racing 'Type C' rims. Both are in a 15" size and have similar backspacing etc.

We all know what pizzas look like, so I won't bother posting a pic. Aftermarket ones are available in both black with a polished lip or chrome. Which do you guys prefer; Pizza, Black/Polished or Chrome?
For those unfamiliar, the vehicle that the rims shall be going on is my '87 Horizon GLH, silver in color:

So i just recently bought an 87 pacifica with T-tops. Turns out there is no sway bar on the car and the mounts have busted bolts in them so getting brackets on is impossible. im debating on selling my iroc and pacifica but if there is a way to take the tops off and switch them, id be pretty stoked....

I understand that i will need to cut both roofs equally and trade doors, but im worried about it not being safe, and being expensive. i looked around but couldnt find a thread on this even though i remember there being talk of it a long time ago. thanks!
