Im currently trying to sell a 74 Nova project car with a big block to help fund the build up of the Laser. I should have a couple of grand left over after some other things get taken care of.

Hopefully the community can help steer me in the right direction as far as what I need to do to reach my goals. I figure if I get around 250 or more HP and 200 Tq, and a BOV that goes PSssssshhhh!! Ill just about be as happy as can be. And of course Ill just have to deal with extra power if I exceed those goals.

It is an auto car, like most people Im a manual guy, but if these autos can be built up I dont really have a problem keeping it. But then again if a conversion is the thing to do, itll be worth it with this car. I dont think Id have the same luck twice with mileage and price.

The motor seems to run tip top, and with 43k miles on it, Im hoping its going to be a good platform to build on...and save me money on having machine work done for a full rebuild.

The stock 5X100 wagon wheels are in excellent condition, absolutely no blemishes. They look brand new. Im hoping to be able to trade them off as I already have a set of ADR's that Im putting on. Figured maybe there is a purist out there that would give them a loving home.

I'd love to see something like a twin turboed 6x4 model doing burnouts or making a 100 mph pass at the drag strip. The thing is according to google, the fastest one I found only does 35mph. How come more people aren't modifying these things?? I was even hard pressed to find one that had been jacked up a little more for mud bogging. If anyone out there wants to do something different, I think the J.D. Gator would be an excellent vehicle to mod, because like I said, it seems that no one has done it. I am wondering what year and model this engine came from? Its says chrysler turbo on the valve cover and is not TBI so I believe its a 2.2l.

I noticed a small amount of shaft play on the turbo, engine seemed ok but I am leaning on tearing it down for further inspection. It was pulled from a wrecked car.
