I am installing an alarm on the 87 SC and have hit a couple snags.

On the door pin switch, which one is the positive and neg.? I have tried to use a meter to figure it out and obviously I'm doing something wrong. And what is the switch next to the door pin switch? it is plastic instead of metal, and bigger.

On the ignition switch, which is the power to the starter so I can hook the starter interrupt?

I'm sure I'll have more questions later so I'll apologize in advance because when you don't have diagrams it is a guessing game and I don't wanna fry a new alarm doing it.

Thanks

Is there any way to test if a radio is working? I have a infinity II radio that I got from the junk yard. I removed the aftermarket radio and installed the infinity. With the key on the clock comes on and I can scroll through the stations but no sound comes out. I'm not 100% sure the speakers are wired correctly so is there a way to test if I'm gettting power out to the speakers and what it should be. Also when I first turned the radio on the equilizer lit up, now it won't. What do you think?? I have 12v going to the radio also I have the 12v switching. Should I have 12v for illumination for the lights on the equlizer or does that light up when the radio is powered up?

This is a '91 Daytona, the wipers work fine on high and low but not on delay. They did work once on delay, but I can't explain why. I pulled the dash pod off and resoldered some of the joints, but I don't know which ones were for the delay, I just did the ones that were easy to get to without messing anything else up. No idea if it's related, but my voltage meter is pegged below minimum, and the oil press. gauge is pegged full high. I'll investigate those as I progress but I think those are probably just a bad ground or something similar. The wiper delay is the real issue I'm looking to solve right now. BTW, when I move the switch to the delay range they don't park, they just stop where they are. I also hear the relays clicking when it's in delay position, but no wiper movement.

Where should I start with this...?
