Does anyone know where I could get a hold of a copy of the master vin list? I really just need the portion covering the 86 glhs's, specifically mine. Though I'd prefer to purchase the whole thing.

Are these available anymore, all my searches and probing emails have turned up nothing so far.

Please? I'll pay...

PM SDAC_guy with your VIN, he should be able to give you the information you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply Tom, but that's not going to work for me... I need hard-copy proof in hand...

What exactly are you looking for?

The vin lists for the 86 GLHS, really has very little info (per vin). The entire vin is NOT listed, only the last 6 digits. The original invoice # is listed as is the dash plaque number. And the intended shipping destination is listed also with the date the shipment was scheduled for. And that is it.

Most of the paper copies that have been distributed are somewhat poor photcopies of an original listing. And the person that made the copies did a bad job at that since on most pages, the bottom two lines of data are missing.

If possible, Barry, I'd like to purchase a good copy of the list (notorized?) to use as further proof of authenticity in my insurance case to back up the letter you previously sent for me. I can pay for whatever costs this incurrs. Like you could bill me for time, services, gas and whatever other costs.

thanks again for yor time,

Sometimes we just miss posts ... nothing personal ... I don't check here all that often unless I've posted something or checking a thread of interest.

Anyhow, I found your original thread and have replied to it.
