As for the omni. Yes I think he did race it. He has had it since 91 and put about 60,000 miles on since then. I remember him saying that he only took it to the drag (1/4) a few times. As for what's on the car.
The block and tranny in the car are out of an 89 csx. it has a super 60 turbo, forged pistons, 40's injectors, walbro fuel pump, 52mm throttle body, steel braided lines. Other than this not sure. only talked to him on the phone.
the car also came with the origional engine not sure of the tranny?
four koni's, centurions and origional body kit (one on the car is blue)

The interior is ok, needs a wash, and eventual replacement. the headlinner neads to be replaced. I think it has origional radio. If not I think I have one at home.

Plans are to fix all minor problems and drive it when I get home. Have some fun. Then eventually restore her. I love omni's, have had 3 in our family. Know a little bit about cars but plan to learn more with this one

Can't wait to meet up with you when you get here. I moved to Surrey from Burnaby about 3 years ago when I bought my house. I lived in S. Korea in '97 for a year (Kunsan). I loved it there, partied my arse off.

I got an Omni that's been sitting for a while that I'm debating on getting rid of. It's untuned now but even in it's current state (running off a TIV computer), it's a beast http://www.cardomain.com/ride/719818/1.

Sorry been a bit busy over here. Just moved.
Sweet 2 GLHS in BC. Who owns the other one? where is it?
Will that omni is a beast. I have seen it before looking around on the internet. Did not realize you were in Surrey.
I was glad to hear that the omni came with th origional stuff. Very excited.
