Brought it home this afternoon. This is yet another red one. It is complete with all Shelby Items intact except for the floormats, and the driving lamps are missing from the airdam. The original light bar had been removed and seperated from the vehicle at some point but I got the truck with a spare light bar from a white model. The stripes are peeling pretty bad but the body is in great shape. Except for a spot of oxidation on the hood the paint is still glossy and intact. The driver side of the seat has a small rip starting.

I was really pleased that the rims are in beautiful shape and all caps are present. Also even though the lights are missing the airdam is in flawless condition.

I' ll try to get some pics together soon if anyone is interested.

This is as I got it. Has been sitting outside for a couple of years. Haven't even washed it yet.

That's actually my wife's Laser. It's her daily driver/pride and joy. Though as of late I've been daily driving it. Better pics of it are here. A few months ago it recieved a fresh engine. Not much went into it as far as performance parts. But the manifolds and head were port matched with the exhaust manifold getting as much hogged out of it as possible. It's running an 88 roller cam and the only optional MP computer available. It's setup to pull 9 pounds of boost. Recently her exhaust was upgraded to a full 2-1/2 in. system with a Catco cat and Walker Ultraflow muffler. I even modified an original stainless steel factory tip to go back on. Sounds nice.

Since it is a DD and an 84 model we don't have any plans to up its perfomance anymore. Besides it gets excellent gas mileage compared to the rest of my cars.

^^Yeah, I have an 84 Daytona Turbo that unfortunately hasn't been driven in about 12 years. It had some problems and I had to park it due to money problems. In the meantime some mice got into it and destroyed the under-dash wiring. I'm slowly working on it (I know virtually nothing about wiring!!), but I'm sure it'll still be awhile before I am able to get it back on the road. And mine got really good gas mileage, too. I think about 35 mpg on the highway. Oh how I want it on the road again!!! Did you have any luck finding the checkerboard seats? Mine have had it, too. Thanks and congrats on the Shelby Dak!!! David.

I couldn't come up with the original style checkerboard seats so she ended up with a two tone grey interior from an 88 Daytona in beautiful condition. All that we have left to do on her car is the suspension and it will be like new top to bottom.
