Shelby Factory Markings?

I have grease pencil markings on the very front of my hood. As you can see from the picture, it gives a date and a number. I'm assuming this was applied at Shelby's Whittier Factory. The build date from Dodge of my car is in June, so the dates would make sense anyway. Can anyone shed some light on this. My car is #168, does anyone know if my car was the #299th car out of Shelby's factory? Thanks. It's not letting me post pics here, so I posted a pic in the pictures section under Technical Data.
