which is the rarest shelby ?

Seems like people are forgetting about the 16V AWD Daytona that Shelby was working with and there was a few shipped over to Europe for further development and the only thing that came from that which saw production was seen in the 90's R/T's and that was the Lotus Head. I even heard somewhere that they guys who designed that transmission still have the blue prints for it. I bet one of those would be kinda rare.

I wanna learn more about that 16 valve csx on page one. I've never seen a pre 1990 lotus engine.

If I remember right, Shelby started to do some experimenting with the 16V lotus head right at about the same time as the AWD A555, I knew he put the engine in a few of the cars, such as the GLHS that he owns, and in a few Daytonas that went overseas for further development as well as a few Shadows. Now I did not know that he released any of the Shadows or the Daytonas to the public. So that shadow would be a rare find, not to mention that valve cover.

The rarest shelby would probably be a vnt daytona shelby. There's only like, 16 of them or something like that

oh yeah. I meant the C/S competition VNT. there's only 21. There's 536 VNT shelby daytonas

Thanks for the correction. I just automatically assumed SAAC kept records of both the Ford and Chrysler Shelbys.

Though not labeled a "Shelby" ( Shelby thought up the design of the vnt I think) -- my 90 Comp Pak Shadow is one of the rarest turbo dodges, 30 total.
Its cool it was a prodution car.
I dont know the color breakdown, but I'd like to know how many were black if anyone knows!

Also, the Tona R/T blue (8) or green --all the newer Shelby Daytonas were fairly rare, my 91 blue one was one of 173 I think.
