Hey guys, I just pulled a 88 Daytona turboZ Shelby out of a field. It has the TII motor in it and all looks stock. Bulge hood, rear disc...It does have some rust in the floors and the usual spots underneath. Do I save this car and restore it? Is it a fairly rare car?I believe it is a c/s ags car as allpar. says.Need opinions Thanks Allan

its not a C/S if its a shelby z.
The shelby z should have the shelby gfx, and normally a lot power options
The C/S was a light weight package and it was a base daytona, stripped of all (or most) power options, performance suspension etc.
The C/S had fender badges and AGS would be on the fender tag
Rare... not so much but the t2 car is desireable over alot. How bad is the rust? If its patchable, go ahead and fix the car. If its not, part the car, save or sell the good parts off of the car and bye-bye. Or sell it to someone willing to do the work to fix it!

The 88 Daytona C/S didn't have the bulge hood and were only turbo I cars. Only the 89up C/S cars got the bulge hood.
