Lol, I kinda thought about getting the message center that does that for the Daytona's but I was worried about it telling me stuff I didn't want to hear. Kinda like that police officer that pulls you over for going to fast. But there are message centers that you can get for the cars to get it to "talk" to you. I have seen them on ebay a few times for the H-bodies, but they are a little bit more common with the G and J-bodies.

I looked for what it was for the Lancer/Lebaron GTS, but I found an example of what the message center is for the Daytona/Lebaron (GTC). Here is a link:

eBay Motors: 87 LE BARON lebaron Dash DISPLAY SYSTEMS CHECK 88 89 (item 280243707553 end time Jul-14-08 09:38:33 PDT)

Kinda cool when in action, but as I stated earlier, may not be the greatest at times. The Lancer version is a block or a cube instead of the rectangle shape as the one in the link.

My grandparents used to have a Chrysler E-Class that had that. IIRC it just told you stuff you already knew. My Grandad used to talk back to it to be funny (I was still young).

From what I've seen, the voice modules only seem to come equipped on full digital cars. But of course not all digital dash cars had the module. My '87 LeBaron coupe had the full digital setup, but no voice module. To be honest, I didn't even know they offered one for the Lancer/GTS. They must be ultra rare. If you find one, definately hang onto it. Probably not worth anything to the "normal "world, but definately win you some wow points with the TD crowd.

Digital Dash itself does not talk. It's the message center that does it.

Go to youtube.com search for daytona shelby talk, it'll be the first one.

I can't post it here because of the sitting of this board.
