Warning About! GLHS#707 on EBay

If anyone is intrested in bidding on this car you should know it was wrecked in the early 90's. It was hit very hard in the rear and because of the damage it had a rear clip installed from a donor car. If you inspect it in person remove the interior windshield moulding and also lift up the carpet behind the front seats you will see where it was welded together. If your still don't believe me take it to a good bodyshop and they will show you what i'm talking about. SO BUYER BEWARE!, OR BID ACCORDINGLY!(It's not worth the $9000 the first listing went for)

I'd never pay the $9000 that it reached last week, but at least now, I can stop kicking myself (3 1/2 years) for not buying it when it was only 80 miles away and the "Buy it Now" price was $5,800.

At least he's not still calling it a one owner car like he did 2 weeks ago. There's been a minimum of 3 owners. When it reached $9000 last week, the reserve wasn't met.

It still is a very nice car it's just not all that the seller is claiming it to be. IMO it is worth the current bid of $5057 but not $9000!

I asked him the question yesterday.. He hasn't replied back to me yet. I didn't ask him to start any BS. I just wanted to see how he answered. I asked him what his opinion was on the matter and if he thought if the car was re welded if that would change the value.
I wrote it as if he was unaware, after all he is just a car dealer.. he doesn't seem to be an enthusiast.

It's perfectly legal in most states I'm aware of, and it's safe when it's done properply(seems to be a quality job on this GLHS). If I wouldn't have brought this up but I don't think many people would of been able to tell. Usually when this happens a car will get a salvage title though. Cars get clipped more often than you think. This same thing happend to car #94? (the red one without a sunroof a couple of years ago).
