Where the hell did you find that seat? Those things are REALLY tough to find, especially not trashed.

EDIT: I mis-read that. The seat you had was probably trashed and you put the good skin on it?

Yeah I found a decent set of seats in a JY car, then put the skins I got from spoolinhard on them. The skins I pulled off are in decent shape too, they're grey with the multi colored inner pattern also. I have them for sale in my parts thread!


I have big plans for the Daytona hopefully I can have it done by the MATS in March!!

Got the driver's seat done today. I'm missing the hardware to bolt them in place can't wait to try them out!

I don't think its the same 568 that u have. You should have a large spline and that should be a small.

sad to see cars like this donated to colleges. I went to a tech school and we had a buick that had the 3800 supercharged engine and it had 100 miles on the car. It was donated by gm and after many techs working on it you couldn't tell it had 100 miles it looked more like 200,000 miles.

I was even more sad to see it rotting in a junk yard!! There's a video of the engine running, I'll have to take some pictures. That's one thing about this car it doesn't look like the engine was torn apart a bunch of times. There's still all the plastic clips and tags in there. One thing I noticed are a couple of odd looking bolts in different places throughout the car.

Because all these cars were thrashed on by punks and it is a bit amazing that they still exist after 20 years. And due to the low re-sale value, any remaining survivors get sold cheap to some piece of white trash who transforms the car into a resemblance of themselves.

Yeah I was afraid of what I could find when I dug into the car, but I really didn't find much other than odd bolts instead of the stock bolts.

Stuff I still need:
A/C condenser
Tilt lever arm
All the seat belt (black)
New windshield
catalytic converter
Paint/body/gfx/graphics

so far this is what I have to do.
