I live about as far away as you could get by land to Cali, but dam the thought of robbing that junkyard is a strong one. I really do hope somebody can get that thing out of there somehow, come on boys!!

What about calling the guys at Shelby in Las Vegas, NV or the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, CO? I know the Shelby Museum in Las Vegas has Dodge vehicles or maybe better yet, the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Michigan

That is a very good idea, hopeing that someone will listen on the other end of coarse. That is where this should belong, in a museum being a one of only.

It would be really awesome to check in. If it's completely gone, that means someone out there has worked their magic and is hopefully gonna restore the car. I'm sure anyone who operates the Pick N Pull will know.

The name is Pick Your Part, not Pick A Part. The company was bought out by a large company call LQK inc. Even they they could sell the car they couldn't because the titles are turned into the Ca. DMV as scrapped and they must destroy the cars once that happens. Very few yards here do sell cars that don't end up in the parts car lots thu. The big problem is that the yard buyers don't know what their buying and don't care anyhow. I seen a buyer pay $200. for a totally burned out car, said it was worth it in scrape iron.

Hm, you would think a place like a musuem would be able to bypass this kind of stuff to retain the historical value.

Went back today, car is history now. Had I long talk with the yard manager about the historic lost. As it turns out I was misinformed and it COULD have been bought. I complained about how the Chrysler section keep getting smaller and the cars aren't kept longer. All the yards around here are guilty of this practice in which I feel deserves a class action lawsuit. LKQ inc. is responsible for this unforunate twist of fate. Sooo...... If enough of their Mopar customers would pitch a bitch maybe they'll change their ways.

I saw we all call the yard saying we were interested in purchasing the car and would've offered thousands for it. That would change their ways.

It is sad to know this car no longer exists.
