Prototype Shelby Street Fighter Rampage found...

[R/T 74]

Was very sad to see this....it's the original Street Fighter Rampage prototype that was built by Shelby and another design firm. It is sitting in a wrecking Yard in SoCal...it still has it's Turbo 1 motor and 5 speed...

No, I didn't...I tried to buy the whole car but they said there was no paperwork....it literally had 9k on the odometer...those tires are the original 265/50/14 BF G tires it had when it was built...it sat for a long time....that nose is aluminum...not fiberglass...

Looks like it's the same one that was at the Pacifica facility years ago.Like 1986 ish.They had a Blue and Silver Shelby Charger there as well with the same nose piece on it too.Although the styling of the stripes were different on it then what you saw on the streets.

I would presume this is the same car that was posted about a few weeks ago where people were confused about a rampage with pop up headlamps

Buy all of the parts not found on a typical Rampage and build one like it... OR buy it as salvage, reconstruct it, then re-title it as a custom build. Not that hard to do in PA, not sure about there though...

That F'n sucks! If Cali is like Florida, once a car is puchased by a yard, the VIN is basically red flagged and the vehicle is listed as 'destroyed'. I have a friend that tried to buy a car from a yard in Florida for off-road, race only purposes. They said no. He then said, what if he cut it in half and bought each half. They said no. Maybe the place was being douches, but I don't think by law they could do it. I have gotten the same answers at different yards as well. Not chain affiliated and in different parts of the state.

You would need the body, the sides over the wheel wells are flared and perhaps wider? Correct me if i'm wrong
