There's a 1989 CSX-VNT slated to go on Wednesday the 16th at Barret Jackson. Really nice car... It will be interesting to see what it goes for...if it even makes TV time...

It would be nice if ones of these cars got some air time. 99% of the shelby-loving population have ZERO clue what a CSX even is.

They call it "just a shadow", but don't dare call their GT500 "just a Mustang" lol

I think I remember it from ebay...he wanted $14k-ish for it. It's clean. Heck, if I was there and could get it for well under $10k, it would be mine. That may be the same guy that had a few of them. One was still factory-fresh, with the plastic on the seats. Another was clean, but average mileage.

I think the update it that this one sold for just about $8k??

well, it was nice, but it didn't have the correct front airdam. It went for less than I paid for the repaint on my car. oh well,

Yes, it is sad... I would have guessed somewhere slightly north of $10k... Our cars are simply seen as a "mid-life get back to work" era of Carroll's life. Oh well, perhaps we need to be careful what we wish for... We can STILL afford our cars!

They ever do hit the major auction scene in a big way and we're screwed for picking up another car under $1k!!!!!
