I have been trying for a year now to get some fiberrides for my CSX. I have managed to get all the other pieces that were missing, like the front and rear air dams, the windshield sticker, etc. I did purchase a single fiberride back in December on ebay. I tried to get a set that was just on ebay, but they had been painted white and the reserve wasn't met at $500. Plus the seller wouldn't answer my e-mail. Does anyone out there in Shelby land have a set of four, three, two or even one that I can buy? I'm really trying to bring my car back to it's former glory after a life in the wrong hands of a careless owner.

If you don't have any luck, I will take that 1 off your hands if it's a wide option :-) "as if" right? I know as well as you how hard these are to find. And my CSX is a wide tire option. I have 3 in excellent condition but have had a heck of a time finding 1 more . . which width fiberride are you trying to find. If you hear anything about a wide rim and you are only looking for the standard one, please point them my way and I will take it off their hands. Otherwise, good luck with your search.

But I will certainly respect your admin status and your 9,000 posts And I will admit my post displayed some rookie etiquette. A few too many Miller Lite's tonite I'm afraid. hey, but at least I caught my error and called myself out before anyone else could

HUH? I guess I'm the rookie. I thought the Rims were All the same size just a different tire size.

+1, i thought the wide tire option was the tire itself, coming in 225 width.....had no idea there was 2 diffferent width fiberides?? i take it one is 6.0 and other is 6.5?? like crabs?

or were they lucky enuff to get 6.5 and 7.0 in width?!

This wheel was the winner of the Society of Plastic Engineers Award for "most innovative use of plastics." This material is stronger yet lighter than a comparable aluminum wheel and is quite exotic for a production car. The wheels were molded in a gold color; embossed into one spoke (and impossible to see in this small picture) is the SHELBY name. They measured 6.5" in width and had a 40mm offset."

so the wide tire option was only the tire and not the rim? I guess I just assumed since it is an option that makes a car more rare that it was the rim. The tires can be replaced with bigger ones and noone would know. Is there a database or anything that tells which cars (shelby #) came with the wide option? Thanks.
