#340 is kind of on life support- it will take a lot to fix it, and I'm not sure if I will ever get to it. It's an A/L, but I have an A555 ready for the engine to be rebuilt. It's pretty used up, though- it would probably need a complete restoration to be useable.

There was a shelby lancer with a auto tranny that went to the junkyard because of a front end accident In richmond i believe it was. I didnt see it but the number and most of the other good parts were supposedly already gone, but it was red with a turbo II and a shelby valve cover and the shelby steeing wheel.

I have found a few in the yards, most of the time I am a day late for the good stuff I do grab the vin plates for whoever is keeping track. I have four red vin plates in the stack here but only two are for 87. (One is from 89 CSX IIRC)So here are the vins and whatever # they were, you can list them as crushed.

BTW I owned #748 for many years, it is also as #800 is described. I bought it from Carroll's secretary (Sue Moz) in the mid 90's. She had it at about 100K and I racked up another 40 K or so. I put in a 2.5 with a big valve head, s60 turbo, 568 trans and a few other tricks. Guy I sold it to never drives it from what I hear nor has he bothered to pick up the original motor like he said he would FIVE YEARS AGO! I wanted to save it in case someone wanted to restore one of the few 'factory mules' The engine will go to the dump in the near future if he doesn't come get it. I tried...

Hey Alan
you should check to see if that guy wants to sell it, maybe someone here could buy it and actually do something with it.

Picked up #275 from Brett Lindsey last weekend. It is an auto/leather car. The outside is in great shape. Just a couple of places where the clear is coming off no biggy though. The leather interior is starting to crack of course, but the rest is in pretty good shape. I did replace the headliner it was starting to come down. I found 5 H-bodies in the local yard that were pretty much complete,so time to get some extra parts. The engine and trans are still stock and I think that is how I'll leave it.Don't see too many around in stock condition anymore. Brett rebuilt the engine and had turbo rebuilt a few years ago and runs great.

I really wondered how I would like the Lancer. I owned a 87 CSX,87Shelby 'tona,89 CSX VNT so I wondered if the Lancer would be a letdown. But I can honestly say they are an awesome car!!!!!

I also appreciate Brett and the info he has on these cars and all Shelby dodge products. He has been a great friendto all T.D.ers in the area

#368 auto/leather. I bought it from Lynn Travers early this year. I need a DEX 77 and the cd holder in the trunk the cd unit is there. Did the DEX have a removeable face? If so I might just need that. there is another in STL that is owned by David Sidwell. Also auto/leather His mother was the original owner. The original block is not in the car but still with the owner.
It's not my avatar. That is Neonshowcar's old car. I bought the gfx from it. They are actually sexier than the Sl's. Not a good fit though.

I bought my Shelby Lancer from Brett as well, it was my first turbo dodge, and I'm glad I bought in from him. Which one did you get? Was it his wife's or was it his Mom's Shelby Lancer?

Shelby Lancer #127 is still alive...barely at the moment. It spun a rod bearing a few weeks ago and has been parked where I work since. I have a spare engine from SL #371 that I will install soon just to keep it running. In the meantime, I'm going to fix more hail damage and replace the interior. I'm more concerned with the way it looks than making it faster anymore.
