Since it's been a long time since Alan posted about it, I thought I would. Nothing like a relatively short notice too.
The first Thursday of the month (and every month) is the California SDAC chapter's monthly meeting. And since I've seen other SD/TD's out there (including at the track recently) who have never been to one I just wanted to remind everyone that we exist. There's a wide variety of cars that change from month to month. One month it might be turbo minivans, the next month Masi 16V conversion cars, R/T's or maybe numbered cars with furniture on the roof (inside joke
).
The meet starts in the parking lot at around 7:30-8:00 p.m. but has been kicking off more towards the later time. Everyone hangs out and checks out the cars for a while and then moves inside for dinner. If you show up late just come inside and look for the large group or ask the server where the "car club" is. It's been going at the same place for something like over 9 years now and they know us fairly well. After dinner it's back outside.
Any car is welcome and you don't have to be driving a Shelby Dodge, turbo Dodge, or SRT-4/PT GT. A few interesting "other" model cars usually make it every month as well. Stop by for a few minutes or stay all night. Speaking of which, it sometimes runs until midnight but with the cooler weather has been ending earlier.
