as for the event ... if anyone wants to keep track of the weather just use the zip code 21911 in weather.com and that will keep you up to date

I know you were running Tim's car Sunday. I pulled that 60' out on them last year at this event. I am just looking forward to running the car in good conditions rather then a cold greasy friday night track. What 1/4 mile times did you get?

Cool. I have only been able to get a 1.84 so far on slicks. But with more practice I am sure I can get it down. I will be shoting for the 11's. Good luck on Sat.

I am not sure if this has been posted yet but for everyone coming that doesn't know Theodore Rd. has a detour because they are redoing a couple of small bridges there. The detour rd is George Washington School House Rd. which is about a mile past Theodore Rd. Just figured I would let everyone know so there isn't a suprise tomorrow.

Minor update for now. Seemed like a decent day all around. Minor problems here and there, but the TD representation was excellent!! It was a really great turnout. Brian Slowe went faster 9.88

I am sure many will jump in with pics, I haven't had a chance to upload mine yet, most likely tomorrow.

Wow, great time guys. Track was hooking and outside temperatures were even t-shirt weather -- great for Nov. I'd guess somewhere around... 40? turbo dodges.

Brian backed up his 9.88 with a 9.87 (137mph) before being sent home, plus lots of other personal bests and great runs by people. JonnyB slaughtered his record, Mike Vaughn and Mike Marra were flying too -- but I'll let everybody tell their own stories.

Yet another sweet end to a season at Cecil, catch everybody in the spring.

wow what a great day.... couldn't ask for better weather. Being my first time at a track my best time with the spirit r/t was 15.2 and thats with missing 4th. Out of the 5 runs I got, my best reaction time was .162, best 60 was 2.862 and durning my best 1/4 mile of 15.2 my mph was 97.71. So all in all it was the drivers fault for this car being so slow but I will be working on it and maybe by next spring I'll also have an s-70 turbo and more porting work. Nice to meet a few of the guys on hear and hopefully there will be many more track days in this cars future. I'm also all for renting out a track for the day somewhere in the tri state area... even if it costs say $100 per person I would do it cause that way we could really get to know our cars.
