When & WHERE in Ca.? I am headed to San Diego tomorrow morning for a weeks vacation. If there is a TD meet near, I will see if I can drop by. Unfortunately NOT in my Iroc R/T.

That would be SWEET to have you guys visit for the meeting! 7:30 is the 'suggested' time, most roll in at 8 or so but we go pretty strong until after midnight so anywhere in that range works...

Ralph, depending on what part of San Diego you are in, you could be as close as 75 miles, from south SD county add 20-30 miles or so. Let's take a poll, who thinks Ralph is close enough to come see the gang at Applebees? There you have it, you're on a short road trip to Applebees

You're not in the blue car by any chance are you... Never seen a blue RT in the flesh

San diego is definately close enough to make the meeting! He!! at 1300 miles even I think about just driving down. I probably would if I had more vacation time I was there at 7pm (a bit eartly) and didn't leave till 2 or 2:30am. Great time!

Thursday night probably won't be able to make it. We are staying at Imperial Beach (South of San Diego) Thurs & Firday night. My Nephew is Graduating from the Marine Corp Boot Camp Friday. Sat. & Sunday we will be staying in Santa Monica (a lot closer to LaHabra, but a couple days late ), Then back to San Diego (Pacific Beach) Monday & Tuesday. Thrus Night will definately be tied up with family doings. The Blue R/T is staying in Ohio in the garage for the winter. I'll be in a R/T, just not a Iroc R/T. Suppose to have a Charger R/T reserved. Sorry, I can't make your meeting, that would have been fun meeting West Coast TD'ers.

OK then Ralph, family time till 7, then the 2 hour drive-you're there at 9 or so, spend a couple hours then head back to IB. IIRC when I graduated from boot camp in SD 25 years ago, the ceremony wasn't until 10:30 or so. You would still get 8 full hours of beauty sleep...

Oh well have a great vacation, it was almost 80' today, had the top down and was cruising the TC Masi. You picked a good time to visit

I got a feeling this is gonna be a good meeting, Ralph you GOT to try and make it. Not everyday you get to meet the KING OF CHEAP SPEED Boyd ( Mock GLH ) or Chris ( TU ) in person. So CAL SDAC really ROCKS.

I'm from SoCal Jay, so I had the heat on to ward off the wind chill factor Anything below 85 and I get chills My four year old has the Dawes AF gauge figured out, when I picked him up from school yesterday he says, 'make it go blue Daddy, blue is superfast!' In reality he has never seen blue cause I don't run that much fuel but it's the top light on the meter so by his resoning it's faster than red, yellow, or green

What Butch said-good meet tonight, weather is ideal and a few of the 'regulars' have got some projects running. Forza-I'm thinking you should grab the GLHS roadracer from the hangar and drive it over. Besides then you won't have to face the TC with your GTO Has it really been a year since we set up that freeway contest...

Well, we made it back from Southern California. WOW, what a beautiful place!!! Sure wish I had the money to move out there and then had enough money to live there more than a week. We spent 2 nights on the beach at Imperial Beach (south of San Diego), 2 nights in LA (Santa Monica) and another 2 nights on the beach at Pacific Beach (Mission Bay).
Sorry, that I wasn't able to make your meeting. It was So nice, that I hope to get back out there to see more of the sights that we missed. Maybe next time a club meet will work out. Thanks to everyone for the PM's and offers for assistance. Hope we can meet up someday.

It will be there tomorrow, barring any fires, explosions, police impounds, etc. Thanks for the assist the other day and you know your TC never runs long enough to hang with the GTO! Besides, my S.O. will happily ride in the GTO, can you say the same about yours and the TC? lol
