Brent, how long before you get your fuel regulator back?

I pulled the front off of the Daytona yesterday to install the IC. Should be finished today, then back to work on the GLHS.
Depends on shipping times and how much I bother Corky to get it done probably. I didnt express "urgency" in the notes I put in the box and he said I should have :P

The fellow I sold the car to in Washington sold it to Paul who lived in the Bay area of california then he moved here last november and he brought the car up just a few weeks ago before he put it up for sale. I took a ride in it for this "annon" buyer in Spring Texas who for some reason doesn't want anyone to know she's buying it...but as Cory mentions gee how many people in Spring Texas are into Shelby Dodges does she think we are really that clueless?

But the car still looked good and ran good I'm glad someone is getting it that will show it and enjoy it.

Brett

Gabe, I meant how bad he beat that car driving it not anything else... The day we came over and he had everything all out of whack cause he didnt want to listen to me on how the vacuum was supposed to be along with other things.....

And yeah me and Luis Both would join and pay dues Since I sold him Christine I mean the Lancer...
But Yeah as far as the GLH cars goes that guy has a strong emotional attachment to the cars and I think thats the problem.. They really numerically speaking are not worth very much..
Corey said it best a 20 year old turd(other than the turd part) not many people care about just isnt worth much and you cant try and convicne people otherwise...And no problem corey...

The jetta race already happened so further discussion on the "pregame" is....

BTW I finally got my package (not cam gears or fuel regulator, aka not a "needed" part) from that company which a few others have had interesting experiences with...will see how it fits. It looks like a hackjob when I opened up the box.

I called and I think corky will get a look at my regulator tonight and it might ship out.

Yeah so i was trying to fit this "set of pipes" to my car and well, its not even close. I have an old-school JRB (aka before it was purchased by a big vendor) on my spirit and the differences (and reason this new one doesnt fit) is obvious.

Im not sure if I should call and complain because I dont think that will accomplish anything except "well then mail it back" so i can wait for another month.

Im cutting up the exhaust to make it fit. The double 90 deg pipe that goes from the exhaust tunnel to the side of the gas tank has to be cut in the middle so I can "reclock" the 90 deg bends like clocking a turbo. I got the exhaust to fit but that mod had to be made as well as me modifying the bracket that holds the drivers side rear hydraulic brake line (moved it over about 1.25" to make more room for the crap exhaust) I bought a few more clamps and also had the vendor send me the missing exhaust hanger at my shipping expense (which was welded in the wrong place and then cut off and not replaced in the correct spot).

Only good thing is the fuel regulator that was leaking gas into the vac line got rebuilt for 30 bucks and it should be in the mail. They gave me a free new pressure gauge and actually updated a lot of the internal parts (i have a first gen product)...so I got my $ worth on the rebuild. BEGI (corky bell) +1
Still no cam gears even though the charge went through 2 weeks ago.

Look what someone sent me for $10 in shipping even though they were the one who cut it off the exhaust after welding it in the wrong spot and then not reattaching it.

xdig, its your favorite TD money taking entity
