Still havent tried to start her and Im sure there will be problems...including the fact that the ford TB doesnt really have a TB blade screw that adjusts (its just a stud) so I dont know if the engine will idle and thats just among the other fouling problems and blah blah blah.
At least it looks decent.

Will try my best to get it running tomorrow (friday) then head to the midnight races (and remember my helmet)

Thanks to the butcher brothers for those spacers too.
Gotta love running 4 seconds slower when you 60' 1.9's instead of 2.3's :P

Summary of my runs
-----------------------------
1st gear = bye bye 2.139 60' ick
2nd gear SLICKS SPINNING @ 12psi pressure
3rd gear = NOPE!!!!!!!no 3rd gear
I thought I broke something but I guess I just let the clutch out to fast. I have no practice with this solid hub 3 puck and I actually had clutch problems that made me late to the races (clutch not engaging all the way so I removed all the rubber gromets to get more slack in the clutch cable and then it worked)
4th Gear = yay car not broken (going about 45mph at this time)
Put car back into 3rd gear, hit limiter and then engine braked @ the 1000' mark
17.8@74
----------------------------------

So I practiced my 3rd gear shift in line and then dropped to 9.5psi in the slicks (24.5x8 r15)

1st gear = weeee 1.99 60' on my 2nd try ever with stock rear suspension too.
2nd gear = PING!!!!!!! NO 2nd!!! shifter cable clip pops out! I knew what happened the moment I heard that.
3rd gear = blah 3rd gear sucks @ 30mph.

Cant get out of 3rd gear when shifter cable is jacked. I hit the rev limiter in 3rd and then engine brake.
I lost 2mph on the top end lol
blah I wanted my 12!!!!!!!and I had the 60' for it easy

Had to drive past the timeslip shack and pull over so I could fix the shifter cable clip and then grab my slip (i am NOT going to try a 3rd gear start with my current clutch)
16.4@72 lol
my 1/8th mph was 74 and that was me going 1st to Nothing!..then coasting...and then shifting into 3rd

I wish it would have been a better night for the TDs at the track. You know something is wrong when my RT is the fastest TD of the night when looking at Eric's and Brent's car. lol

I just wanted to post some helpful info for all the other locals. There is a shop called Motorsport on 2100 s and between main and west temple that has a TON of performance stuff for any turbo car. They are a high end tuner shop that specializes in Porsches, but they have stuff on their shelves that no ones else in the valley will. I stopped in there today because I needed some arp moly lube for my head studs, and or coarse, they had it in stock. Anyways, these guys have TONS of intercooler couplers, braided oil and fuel lines with all the an fitting, they carry tires and sell them for about 70% or what a wholesaler would charge. They also have shelves upon shelves of hardware. Any nut, bolt, washer, or screw they will have. They stock tons of gauges, lubricants, chemicals etc etc etc..... I have been in there a few times and they are always super friendly and always want to bs about car. They will even take you back in the shop and show you all their project cars. Everytime I have been in there they have a new project car from somewhere around the country. These guys are the real deal, so if you need some thing, this is probably the only local shop that carrys this kind of inventory. They do most if not all their business on-line. I dont even think they are in the phone book. But their number is 487-6733. I figured this might be helpful to the rest of you guys.

Video - Built 6g72 in Plymouth Sundance FWD Heads, cams. T67 P trim @ 5.0 psi boost. 10.5:1 afr on wideband still. 3rd gear pull from 1500 rpms and then 2nd gear burnout from a roll.

Video of my car

BUT
Transmission will NOT shift above 3000 rpms. Thats why I had so many problems @ the track. I guess I might have to pull the motor again and try my other spare trans.

I only saw 1 at pull and save and that car looked to be a real pain to get the trans out because the car is sitting on the ground.
Im paranoid about most non pick your own parts places cause they will charge 300+ for an unknown condition transmission.

I have another spare transmission that I will try first.
I think it might be a bent shift fork as that seems to be the simplest explanation if I can rule out clutch disengagement problems by putting the car on jackstands.

I am trying to pull the engine, swap OBX into my other spare trans, change cam timing back to stock, and then reinstall before friday so i can go racing.

Yeah, I need to swap transmissions tonight (or get as far as possible). The trans also locks up gears when the engine is off. It basically only shifts when rpms are really low..and 4th gear grinds horribly if I try to force it into gear @ higher rpms. the others just dont want to shift. I think the shift forks are damaged AND 4th gear synchro is bad.

Im gonna work my butt off. My parents are coming into town and want to watch me race friday. Lining up is okay with me. I dont care if I get beat...I dont even know If I have the balls to leave on the last yellow. Im always so paranoid with this car I try to avoid the real race situation :P
he better beat me. Im not going to up boost. my datalogs have me leaning out to high 12's above 5500 rpms and I dont really feel like messing with it. That or I might try to cheat :P
