So, January is almost here. What day are we going to meet up? I hope I can come since I plan to be in the hospital for a week in the middle of the month. I hope I'm out in time.

Dave! Long time no talk. Hope things are good
I hope everyone can make it. My new shelby should be coming.
RattleTrap is home......again 002.jpg
Thanks again to Tyler. Car seems to be running awesome. I am going to get a temp tag tomorrow if the dmv is open, and once we finish the intercooler kit on my buddys 2.0T jetta, my IROC will go in the garage for the new turbo, FWD adj cam gears and new fuel rail and -an lines. oh, and boost, much more boost. May even get to try my new cal before it goes into the garage as well.........Maybe.
And even though I said I was going to keep it stock. I cant wait to get exhaust on it.

Cory, things are going very well but I have been extremely busy lately. I am happy to hear that you have the Daytona home and that it is running well. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 12th. David

New shiney!

Its a TU fuel rail and their bracket to hook up my acufab to it. It wont be shiney for long, it and the fpr bracket will be getting anodized black here shortly.

Oh, come on Cory! A little shiney isn't that bad..... Have you checked to see how well the holes line up yet? That should be interesting.....

I hope you have the shelby on the road soon. That car needs some love! Oh yeah, I remebered after you left that I never got the fwd ground wire to the alt attached to anything because I could never figure out what to bolt it to. I think it will need to be drilled out so pivot mounting bolt will fit though it.

Its got to match the rest of the stuff under the hood. lol
And the shelby has a temp tag and I will be driving it to work this week. seems to be running great, although a little hard to start with the idle issue, but that will be worked out shortly. It does make it easy to drive it on snowy roads though!

Happy new years everyone!

Everyone planning on showing up to the Pie this weekend? I will be there in the Omni for sure. I hope we can have a decent turn out this month.

On a side note, if anyone knows anyone looking for a GLHS, I have decided to sell mine this spring. I would love to see it stay local so I am not going to offer it on td or tm for a couple months. I know Gary asks me about it everytime he has been over to the shop, so ill probably call him first. If you know anyone else, please pass along my info to them.

See ya guys on saturday.

I'll almost definately be there this time. I have to work 'til 11 so if I don't end up having to stay late I should have time to clean up and get there. David I'm bringing your turbo. Two bolts and an extracter broke off in it but I'm trying to get the head machinist at work to help me get them out. No matter what I'll bring it though.
