Should only be a month or so before the CSX-T's ready for the road.
Yeah, once you get the thing running bring it in out. We would love to see it. Heck, you can come with out your car!

I had an interesting sunday....
My buddy at work just bought a new gto. He brought it by the house so I could check it out. I wanted to go get some pics of it so we fired up all our cars and went to the spot where they do the illegals. Snapped some pics, and decided to go do some fun runs. We lined up, about a 30mph roll. The first race I kinda jumped him, but it wouldnt have made a difference. I walked past him like he wasnt trying. So, I fall back about a half a car, and honk it off again. Same result, I beat him BAD! So bad, he flipped me off (all in fun of course) At that point he had enough. I was walking him so bad, it was like he was not trying. T3>ls juan
So, I take the rt home. A little later that night, I start the shebly so I can move it and put the rt away for the weekend. I start the shelby, and back it out of the driveway. I think start the rt and put it in the shelbys spot in the driveway. I go in, have dinner and come back out to go to my buddys house. I start the shelby, and it starts just fine, and then dies like 5 seconds after, and will not restart. So I mess with it for a few untill I was very late. Figured screw it, I will just take the rt. So, I go to my buddys house who lives uptown (20 or so miles) The car runs fine, no problems on the way there. I get in it to go home, and go a few blocks and stop at a light. The light goes green and I start going. I put it in second and the clutch pedal stays on the floor. and the clutch is obviously not engaging. I start to freak and it grabs just enough so that I can get it to the side of the road. It was late, I didnt want a tow, so I tried to see how far I could limp it home with 10% of my clutch. It makes it. It takes me 45 min, but it made it. Oh, yeah, and while I was racing the GTO, the rt turned 100,000 miles.
So, yeah I went from 2 awesome running cars to ZERO. In the same day. lol Come to find out, the fuel pump in shot on the shelby.
Awesome!
But, on a good note. The holset went out on monday for the downpipe to be made. So, a few weeks and the car should be LOTS of fun.

I heard corby had a decent week end with the omni. Hopefully he will let us know how that went.

Wow Cory, that really sucks. I guess you'll just have to buy a third td so you always have at least one that runs!

HAHAHAH thats good Brett, lol make a td owners insurance plan so you can always have an insured car like a revolving door poilcy for TD cars...

Anyways I picked up an 89 shelby daytona auto for 300 with new tires on 16 inch pumpers ( :woohooo: ) And a new trans and new head with digital dash and nice gray leather and side window louvers  , Im taking the head and wheels and trans and louvers and getting rid of it so I can focus on my CSX. Dave gets the trans for a spare for his SL, and I break even basically and get new tires on my favorite wheels and a head and a set of louvers if I ever get another daytona cuz the side ones look real cool.

Anyways I also got my old shadow back and the poor girl was sadly not runnin right after the kid I sold it to had a new head put on.. He took it to triple a auto or something on 8th south and that guy was an idiot and had the car all screwed up things not clamped down and vac lines hooked up wrong :hammer:
Anyways Lets have another meet this month at the park so I can get the Shadow/Luis and that guy with the GLHS and maybe my new csx.

Chris at TU is looking for someone here in Utah. They ordered something and he doesn't have the correct CC info. He's looking for Nicholas Dieringer.

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out. I am also selling tan trim if you're interested.

Bump, just got back from Idaho with my new CSX....
Needs some work but it feels good to save another rare numbered car.
She has been Tboned previously judging from the bondo which will get adressed later on.
That and its currently being cleaned up and having an 89 cb 2,5 with a fresh 287 G head which will be port matched to the manifolds, as well as a stock Garrett T2 unless I find a good deal again on another Hybrid lol and a Mopar stage 2 LM and a set of 16' inch pumpers.

What are you doing with this one? And why didn't you just keep the 89? I thought you were working on getting your GLHS going.

Alright, someone on the forums must know who this is. My friend came across a LeBaron today here in Utah county. It's a convertible GTC VNT that the previous owner riced out a bit with flames on it. I guess he's fixing it up thank goodness. Anyhow, he said he knows me and I have no idea who he is and why he doesn't come the meets!!!

I can't be the only LeBaron in the sea of Shelbys.

So, anybody know who it is?

Don't, he had to go to Idaho to get it. I'm not sure it was worth it.

I dont "know" him, but he used to go to UVSC when I went there. I left a note on his car once, but I never did meet him. Thats a pretty rare car right? Need to get him out to the meets.

So, a buddy is hooking me up with a gallon of VHTtracbite. That way I can soak my slicks in it and they will work pretty well on the streets. Plus I can "prep" the street like the local mullets. Really excited about that. And Jackson has my holset in his posession, so it will be done by the end of april and the fun will begin. I cant wait for this racing season!

^ Speaking of racing... My "hornet" car is almost done. We are just finishing up the roll cage in it. Trying to make the first race of the season at RMR!
