I would like to copy the slick setup that Brad got. 26's and are those borbet T's?

I heard that chuck was using them?

If I need new slicks then I want to actually buy slicks I can get use out of. Not racing SFWD so i dont care about size limitations.

I am also worried about having enough space between the slick and the strut to be able to run some negative camber.

They are M/T 24.5 x 8.0 - 15, mounted on Traklite II's. They seemed to work fairly well. I haven't bought a new set for myself since I want to run 26" slicks, but will need to do coilovers in order to fit them. So I'm holding out for that.

I can only hope that Miller builds a drag strip in the near future!
I second that, If you have ever been to another track you truly appreciate what a joke RMR is. They have a nice facility but their track manager has always been a jerk when I've talked with him, and about half of the staff is just like him. They play favorites with certain groups and have no clue how to keep the flow moving...and you would think with as overwhelmed they are with racers they would consider opening for racing another night....mind you I realize that may require city approval. But I sure haven't missed not going out there its more frustrating then fun. I understand the Wendover airport thing is pretty good but I've never been out there. Vegas is awesome the track is prepped well and they move the cars down the track.

Anyway if anyone know larry tell him he should really consider building a dragstrip I'd support it...and hire some staff with some people skills. I'm glad my son and I were not racing with our twins saturday they would of thought we had raced before and I can just see trying to explain to him that it is possible they actucally built two Black Chrysler Minivans and they would come race on the same day.

Sorta pissed that you and the 700+hp hondas can hook up on those 24.5 slicks and I cant since mine are garbage.

The one nice thing is that I dont think I need any boost to launch with the size of my motor. Maybe 26x8.5's will change that.

Im probably going to do a lazy ebay coilover and then put adjustable air shocks in the back to balance the car.

I guess if you call a 1.78 60' (my best of the day) hooking up...then by all means, be pissed!

Those damn 700+ HP hondas are pulling high to low 1.6's all day out of their asses!

My best 60' ever on a day that the track was decently prepped was a 1.74. I'm hoping that will be at least the average 60, after I get some 26" slicks on there, and a longer 1st gear(should have the new billet input shaft and 1st gear within the next month).

Right now I'm launching with 5 psi off the line and 2-step rpm set at 5300.

With the 26" slicks, I should be able to bump the boost up to around 7 or 8 psi with around a 5500 rpm 2-step limiter.

Would anyone happen to have a set of adjustable air shocks for A,P,G,J bodies local or know where to grab them? All i can find is stuff I have to wait to ship.

one of the rear shocks in the duster has welded itself to the upper bolt and wont come out so I have to cut it off and temporarily swap that shock to the spirit.

Hey Guys I blew the tranny in my mini yesterday, which sucks because I think it is the differential which would be a pain to replace, so I was wondering if anyone had an extra automatic they would be willing to part with for some $$. I dont care if it is worn out as long as the diff is still intact.
Thanks!

So when is the next test and tune night at RMR? I think I want to take my R/T out there and run it once or twice on stock boost levels to see where it is running. Plus I think it would be interesting to see how much better it runs after I get a stage 3 cal on there with a devils own kit and crank to the boost.

About your racing questions on when stuff happens and how much, check out their websites Miller Motorsports Park and Rocky Mountain Raceways - www.rmrracing.com
I saw that road racing is about $175 for 3 20 minute sessions, and for drag racing the midnight drags start may 2nd at RMR

I have a stage 4 I would love you to try, even if its only on stock boost. If its anything like my first one was, it will help your out of boost responce big time!
