Looks Like my Omni is going to be out of commission for a while blew a head gasket . Has anyone here replaced their head gasket with a steel gasket? Is it a good idea or should I just go with copper? Is it safe to undersize the gasket if nothing is warpped?

FIXED!!! So yes it was a vacuum leak but not in any vacuum lines. I drove it to work early today and we have a smoke machine at my shop. I highly suggest getting one of these bad boys for any of your shops! I smoked the intake and it kinda came out of that bunch of lines we were messing with at the meet. But it was billowing out of the #1 injector!! I fired it up and stuck the smoke probe down by the injector and it was sucking in all the smoke right at the intake side. I removed the rail and the lower O-ring and the little plastic cap were no just damaged... Nonexistent!!! I have no idea where they went. They were there when I did the head job. So I took them to a shop we use for cleaning, adjusting and flow checking injectors and he said they were some of the dirtiest injectors he's seen in a long time. So I put my fuel rail back together and it runs so much more powerful now! Especially off the line! If none of you have flowchecked your stock injectors I highly suggest getting it done. It cost me about $65 for all 4. And that included all new O-rings and he replaced any cracked caps and replaced the missing one. So she's back on the road and stronger than ever!

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out.

Maybe talk to butchers? They may charge you a small storage fee. But, might be worth checking into.

Hmm, that's an option. I would just keep it here but I already have three cars and a fourth would piss off the rents, even if it is for about a week. The other problem is getting it back here from Idaho but I can't pass it up as the body and interior are perfect for the stuff I need. Plus, they only want $250 for the car.

Do you actually think you could get it pulled apart in a week? If so then my house would probably be closer.

It would probably take more than a week. Luckily Cody, my VW friend said that he would let me store it at his place over the summer. I might make some money off this sucker.

I am trying to ditch out on the midnights if Kasey/Glenmormax still has room in his vehicle for vegas trip.

I have to replace an inner tie rod and I just found out how much of a pain in the butt that is going to be.
