I don't know what will get others out to the meetings, but I know after being around these cars for years it takes something more then just standing in a parking lot checking out each others cars to get me very excited. Maybe a dyno day, or a event combined with another club to increase the number to make it practical to participate like a day out at Miller Motorsport park. Maybe picking some of the car shows in the area and making a special push to get some Turbo Dodge guys in the show. A afternoon at Fast kart for a little competition with someone elses wheels we don't have to worry about breaking.
Also the other idea to increase attendance is a Towing service to see if they can help get some of the cars their . But really what about a car of the month day and let some guys submit their needs of help and go over to their house and help them with their cars. Obiously to keep us all busy we would need a couple of cars of month to tinker with. We probably could do a Saturday here at my work I have a pressure washer here and have a detail day getting some of our cars cleaned up. And to be fair about our cars always being broke a large portion of the breaks are due to the way our cars are getting thrased and some is just neglect. Unless you have a TIII car then I know from experience they break just because you put the key in the ignition. But I have had great luck with the T1 & T2 cars as far as dependability. But when I go through one, I usually replace all wear items at the same time instead of one belt or hose a week.
