Tinkering is one thing, Getting something made by someone who has experience is another especially if your trying to go higher with your plans..
I would think people would love to have local access to the parts we need for our cars.

I only suggested it cause it made sense. I mean there is no harm in trying to make things easier right?

I have no problem with someone trying to start a business here locally. I would be more than willing to go to a local company first if I thought the product was better, or the prices was lower. I dont hold any allegiance to any company. Now if it were for something like a header, I would need to see proof that it is made correctly, bolts up with no problems, and is durable enough for anything thrown at it. If he cant prove all this to me, then I would only be willing to try one for FREE and see how it works. Thats just my opinion.

LOL well thats why I said I would let my car be used so he can make sure it does. And the markup may not even be an issue if cindy or johnny or wallace or chris or whoever works something out with him.

As far as the other comment. eh no one is perfect and I aint exactly got any of my tools now for certain reasons beyond my control. And sometimes I ask for help but for the MOST part I fix my own cars. With some minor exceptions.

I will gladly trade anyone shoes to walk in for a week.

Crappy well after swapping in the new battery, my fuel pump is no longer priming. waahhhh. I changed relays, no difference. No power to the pump.
This is going to ruin my racing weekend @ the IDRC's

I took some jumper cables directly to the fuel pump and nothing happened when I applied 12v.

I'm pretty convinced now that I am going to go to that guys shop and see what he has to offer as far as building me a header for the omni.. Seems like there is NO company online, local, or otherwise that is capable or willing to make me a correct header. I'm heading there tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated on what I think of this guy

did you have one die?
Ive got no idea why mine is dead. i drove the car home after the battery problem. swapped the battery, and now no pump. Jumped the pump to see if it was alive and it wont do anything.
