I just got back from Carlisle. It was alot of fun. I'll definitely be returning next year. Gonna post the pics I took when I get a chance.

dodge glht, any idea who won the FWD class? im not sure if that black iroc was judged with us or not, but that thing was insane...haha.. anyone else see it?

I think it was either Gregs GLH clone or the Maroon GLHT. Not 100% sure. All I know was the 1st & 2nd place cars were GLH's and the 3rd place was a Daytona. Sadly enough I didn't place. lol I knew it wouldn't too many nicer turbo cars there, but had fun just the same. Even got a rear Shelby seat for the GLH for $20. Looks great. Installed it right at the hotel last night.

haha, well.. i own a daytona.. so.. i still have a chance in the top 3...haha, but there were some that were nicer then mine in my opinion.. you get the seat down by the fence? the dude had a few sets of CS front and rears in OK condition, just needed cleaned, and he had some dash, body, and shifter parts.. i got a shifter to make into a STS also got my 3" sv and exhaust at the unleashed tent...cant wait to get this stuff on!

Yep, that's where I got it. When I got there he only had two front passenger seats left so I just got the rear seat. About an hour later I realised I coulda bought the seats & put the cover on my current driver seat since the padding was still good. Too late by then. As I walked away from there with the rear seat somebody bought the last rear seat & the remaining front seats.

I did get the radio trim I need & the instrument cluster surround I found I needed. What sucks is I found out my speedo is 5 mph off & the tach died on the way home. kinda wierd on the speedo as the odometer works perfectly. Checked it against the mile markers, but everytime I passed one of the speed checker things to tell you if you were speeding I was 5 mph off.

In the Shelby Class 1st was a Lancer, second was a daytona (without stripes) and 3rd was a Dakota. Well i had fun but as far as results go i think mine beats 2nd and 3rd but just didnt work out. Oh well. Mine was the maroon and silver Charger that was the right color. lol. I did score a 5 dollar turbo valve cover and a driver side fender off a glhs for 20 dollars. so all in all a good weekend

oops forgot to post the FWD results. First was the Maroon GLHT. Second was Greg's GLH clone and third was a red daytona.

That maroon GLHT was awesome. I'm just suprised on how many people asked me what the pod was by the solenoids on teh driver side strut tower. Seems mine is the only GLH out there that has cruise control, atleast that I know of anyways.

I won 1st in the Iroc, Daytona RT and Spirit R/T class

it wasnt even an IROC. it was a 90 ES 3.0 Daytona that the guy was passing off as a 90 IRoc R/T which didnt even exist let alone it couldnt even be an iroc as those came out in 91. I got it booted out of the IRoc RT and spirit r/t class, he got put it with FWD 90+ and then they put him back in the iroc class. he won 2nd by some freak event. Kelly Gomer got 3rd in the R/T class with his spirit R/T

That guy's car was alright, but seemed kinda stuck up. When I was going in gate 3 he looked over at me & just glared. Like his car was superior to mine. Mine may not look like much, but isn't it about having fun & showing what you got? I thought it was.
