Yeah, I was just talking to Todd yesterday about meeting up and having a "Caravan" of cars going to Rockfalls. Most people will be taking 94 to get there so that will be a great place to meet in hudson or on the Minnesota side.

I hope the weather will change so far it looks like it's going to rain the whole weekend. Nothing different, our meetings seem to fall on all the bad days of weather!

I have a friend in Duluth, so I'm gonna spend a day there, then drive to Rockfalls on Sat Night and get some sleep in a hotel... if it doesn't rain. I'll have a definate answer later this week once the weather forecast becomes a bit more reliable.

Just because I have a Chrysler means I do not count? I am in Long Prairie which is about 40 miles from Alexandria.

Others in the general area would be Barry Captain in Verndale and the McCoy brothers in Sauk Centre.

I didn't forget about you guys Robin. It seems the McCoys fell off the face of the earth and Barry is about as close as I could think of. Now if it was this last weekend, I was up in that area. I almost went right through Alexandria, but decided not to visit my sisters family.

A caravan to RF's sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure if I'll make it. I hope to, but have to see how things work out.

I'm up to meet at McDonalds in Hudson for the caravan. That would be the perfect meeting spot. If only there was a canopy somewhere around there to park under.... hmmm. That rain could fall all night long and it can be clear all day long.

My rain fallback plan is to work on the Stealth. I got a call from Performance Concepts that the engine machine work is all done, and ready to be picked up. I now have all the parts I need to get this thing together, so now I just need some time and a good memory.

Time Trials begin at 9 a.m.
Eliminations at 1 p.m.

I've been to Rock Falls once, maybe we should meet a little earlier so we have plenty of time to get there and check in and get the cars through tech inspections.

According to mapquest it takes about an hour to get from Hudson to Elk Mound,WI. I would want to leave Hudson no later than 7:00

Dang it. That would mean getting up early on the sabbath day. No problem here. Jim, how is the 4-wheeler running?

It is a very easy drive from Hudson.

Do people have Snell K-98 or newer helmets? They won't let you run at rockfalls without them. Anyone got a snell 2000 or snell 2005 helmet? I ordered one and hopefully it's in today/tomorrow, but otherwise I might have to borrow one from a fellow tder. If you run faster than 13.99 you need snell 2000 or newer. Thanks guys, Sunday looks like 50% chance of rain. Hopefully we can race.

I'm thinking you won't need a helmet....

Sunday - Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs around 75. South winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the east in the afternoon. Chance of rain 70 percent.

I won't be able to make anything next weekend. We have an AMC meeting Saturday. (They're not as fun as the Shelby meetings.)

I'm up for most anything this Sunday though.
