August 18th

Meet at Porky's Drive Inn at 1:00 or so maybe eat there and then we could cruise up to Anoka, they have a free car show for 1975 and older cars there. They usually have 400-500+ cars there, music, food and alot of cool cars. Cars start to come in around 5:00 or so.

Sept. 8th

Car Show in Osceola, WI, Wheels & Wings car show Admission is free, and you get to see a little bit of everything there. One guy brings a mint red CSX there every year, but I don't know who it is. It is about 45 miles from MPLS/St. Paul. Maybe enter our cars into the show--I don't think that costs anything either. It'd be best for everyone to bring their Shelby car(s).

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
It’s completely free: no charge to show your vehicle and no charge to attend. Car show judging begins at 10:00am and the awards ceremony is at 2:00 p.m.

Paul was saying that there's a beautiful park by the St. Croix river where we could get some good pictures, have a barbecue, etc. He also said that maybe all of us could stop by his place and hang out in the garage afterwards.

Oct. 7th

Rock Falls (Eau Claire Wisconsin) for the Sport Compact Day October 7th. It would be cool if we could get some TD's together and beat on all the imports.
Maybe I can get some of the Chicago SDAC guys to meet us there!

Jim, have you been able to verify that it is still a free show to enter cars into? I know it used to be, but stuff tends to change. If we enter, we'd want to do it all in a row so people don't think too weird of us with our Minivans and Omni's etc.

The show this Saturday is for older cars, no turbo Dodges allowed... unless they are pre 1975.

Out of curiousity, who is Phil?

I think Paul was referring to the Sept. 8th car show in wisconsin. I did a search and everyone said it was free, I have a phone number so I will confirm that.

Phil or "Puppet" is from Wisconsin Dells, he's coming out to buy some 555's from me. Hopefully we'll be coming out on saturday instead of sunday.

Well it looks like there'sw a 50% chance of rain on saturday, that never stopped us before! I remember sitting in the parking lot talking and freezing our tails off in winter!

If it's raining still by 4:00 then we probably won't go up to Anoka since there will be no one at the car show. My Dad goes to the car show so I can call him to see what the weather will be like there.

Who knows what the weather will be like, the forecast could change by saturday morning!

My Shelby looks better in the rain. It's like clearcoat that doesn't bead water.

The further north you look at the weather report the less of a chance for rain. I guess I'll just hang my head out the window tommorow to see what it's going to do.

I got my brother LeBaron for the weekend!!!!
I was cleaning it up after work today and decided to take another look to see why the damn thing won't boost. The wastegate arm was disconnected from the swingarm...HUH! PITA but I got it hooked up...BOOST!!! But now it overboosts like a SOB...ERRR!!!

Anyway, I want to make it to Porky's, but where is it?...Never been there.

Its on University in Saint Paul (Midway), a couple blocks down from Snelling.
