Take the tensioner off completely. Get your stuff lined up. the tight side you need to worry about or front side of the motor, so you want to have all the slack on the back side. Now that you have that put the tensioner back on, and just snug it where you can turn the adjuster nut and it wont come back . Get on the big nut "adjuster nut" on the tensioner tighten it till you can only twist the belt in your fingers 1/2 turn. once their tighten the tensioner to the block, now turn the engine one full rotation check you marks(pull the plugs makes it easier to turn). Also make sure you check your dis timing. Hope this helps.

Hooters FTW!!! Too bad I can't be there. I'm moving back to Enid in late May, early June. I should make the July meet.

Are you alluding to the one i WILL be trading for? I have made up my mind. I'm trading my .45 for a GLHT. Anyone got a head for it? It comes to me sans cylinder head. probably next week I will be getting it.
