Well guys Project X is getting close I just fitted the carbs on a old head,I'll post pics soon. And Clayton it WILL be a two man job (not enough hands) so when it cools down I'll need some help. If anyone else want to just hang out or help when I do it your more than . We'll be doing it at my father in laws shop in Chouteau, we have over head hoist and a full machine shop, and as always good company. Anyway when it's not frigg'n 100 degs I'm going to hit it. BTW when the next meet?

Im up for it

Maybe even install a tall block with the new intake setup?

Not sure when the next meet is, didn't realize it was so close to a new month already lol.

August 16th work? Is it Tulsa or OKC this time, I can't remember where we was before the cookout early this month.

Craig, the carbs look good. You gonna fab a manifold with actual runners or you gonna just do it like that? Are you gonna be making a plenum box for them?

With the rubber hoses for runners, are you gonna need to make a bracket to help support the carbs and if so, where will you put it?

The rubber will hold it. On a Motorcycle there's no brackets also the rubber and clamps hold them.

Sorry to here you are'nt going on the L body. But I understand the problems.
On another note, Went to watch the drags Fri, Test and tune show and go.
Looked fun, I think when I get the carby's going I'm going to see what she'll do out there. 10 bucks to get in 10 bucks to drive....7-11pm Cheap fun!!!!
We need to get the Club out there one night and do some runni'n. There was one guy out there Mits Lancer AWD 32lb's boost, stripped. He did a 9.90 at 138, and he had a bad start!!! But most street guys were running 12-16sec.

I think We should have another OKC meet just because we've already had 2 tulsa meets and only one OKC meet. I wanna do a meet at Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings or Wing Stop. Some place with some decent wings.
