Hmm...I hope we don't get to much snow this week. My car has no turbo, exhaust, and the tranny is hopefully coming out tomorrow. If the weather cooperates I should have it back together w/ a rough tune on it in time for this

So are we still on for this weekend or do we need to wait a little while longer? I need to let the G/F know early, or it turns into WWIII...

Give me a bit more time, I was ready to bolt on the manifolds to the head and noticed the machine shop did a no-no. They installed some new exhaust guides but left them hanging way out into the bowl area and even left some really nasty burrs on there. So I gotta get down there and do some ass whooping. Lets shoot for the 22nd of February. I will check on the dyno tomorrow and book it.

no problem. Let's just hope my clutch holds up till then. It slipped really hard in 3rd gear sunday doing a burnout . I need to get my hands on a 555/cromo plate/obx/HD clutch setup.

2/22/08 sounds good for me. all i gots to do is get time to swap a cam due to a sheared keyway, and hopefully that'll fix my car "issues." speaking of a clutch, anyone have any good recomendations???

TU and FWD both have heavy duty pressure plates and all sorts of options for discs. I'm considering going with a dual diaphram plate and a kevlar disc. My car is pretty much stock w/ high boost @ this point, but I only want to have to do this once.

i hear ya on the whole "doing it once." the biggest thing im worried about is driveability. which when the car is running like it should.... i'll be able to asses what i'll do from there, i still have a FWDP stage 3 cal to put in...
