Hi All,
Does anyone have any ideas for December? As it is, we were talking about having it early in the month because of Christmas. This can be a hard month to try to get together. Hard enough trying to get ready for a snow storm that gave us easily, a weeks notice. The GLHS is still in the driveway. Grrrrrrrr.
We had a great turnout in November. There are pictures posted on my (unofficial) MNSDAC website. I also posted the ones Ryan put on last months thread. Still no August meeting pictures. Maybe this week?

I don't know if I will make it this month, I have to move next Sunday and get my cars in their new heated garage.
I do need to pick up a trans from Jim so maybe I will take a break and stop out for a while.

I like the "Mr. Cool" smilies you put after that statement about the "heated" garage.
That's nice. Do you have a gas furnace in there? I was out at Paul S's tonight, dropping off some tires. He was out in the garage finishing up a tranny job in his Pontiac. NO HEAT! My feet didn't start thawing out until I was in Blaine. And my Subdance has great heat. The temp really dropped since this afternoon.
Sunday would work for me. I'm flexible. (Schedule wise....I can barely pick up something I drop on the floor)

I should be able to make that.
We are planning on going to the Monster Jam, and I have a b-day party, but thats all later, and Majors is nice and close.
I could atleast make it there for an hour or two.

I will likely be there... mostly just to hang out and have a drink. I should have with the V-6 Daytona, that two years ago, I promised myself to junk out. Well, it keeps running. The odometer now likes to work when it wants to, same with the tachometer. Its really a beast of a car, but has proven far more reliable than GM products around here.

Yep. I put about 20 miles on it so far. The only things I needed to do yet after you left was put the wheels on, connect the exhaust, fill the transmission, fill the cooling system, install the serpentine belt, tuck away some wires hanging under the car, and its going once again. For now anyway. Transmission works flawlessly. Even when the old one was working right, it was making noise when compared to this replacement one. One of those things where you don't know there's a problem until you compare the two.
Its for sale. $1500. Excellent engine with lots of new parts, 80k transmission...

Just a reminder about the meeting. 1 PM at Major's in Blaine. Also, If anyone is interested, There's a 91 Shelby Daytona for sale on Craigslist. The guy wants $350 for it. I has a lot of issues. The car has 196,XXX on it. The engine was replaced at about 140,XXX. I doubt it's the right motor, but was supposed to be "new" 10 years ago. He hasn't driven it for a year or so. Gas leak near the tank. I'm guessing hoses. It was too darn cold to take pictures and look too closely. Front ground FX is busted up. Factory CD player below the Infinite AM/FM cassette.
Yes, the pumpers are there. All the caps, 2 good tires and.................................a 5 speed! I assume it still has the 568 since he's had the car for 15 years and never replaced the tranny. The car is near the meeting so we can run over there and look at it if you want. He works tomorrow, but the car is in the driveway and he told his wife, someone may come look at it.
Paul, It's Blue.

We had an pretty good turnout for a few weeks before Christmas on a cold day. (would have been better if they heated the parking lot)
We're thinking about a bowling get-together in January. We didn't come up with a site yet, but we have time. We did that about 4 years ago and had a good time. A lot of people showed. If I remember correctly, Todd (the original) kicked everyones butt's that time.
Also, Who's Santa Fe blue GLH did I see today in Ham Lake heading west on Crosstown BLVD.? I was in a Emerald Green Sundance with 16" Pumpers.
