blowing a head gasket is extremely commen. Right after they blow they eat the water hole into the oil hole. Last year my wagon was running great, mid 14s with 13 PSI of boost and with an auto trans. Thats on an engine that was burning a gallon a mile of water. A blown head gasket is not normally a reason to give up, $40 and 2 hours of work and the thing may be fine.

I'm going to need a heat wave to make it this year. Last year I was in a blizzard both directions.

No more science projects for me either. The current stuff is getting bolted together and thats it for a long time with the 2.2s. The 70 R/T SE challenger is getting put back together right. For years I've put money into 6 TDs at once and I am about completed with all at the same time. The Challenger will cost more than all of them combined to complete, so to do it everything else has to be stopped. I think because I am closing 40 I'm missing stuff from when I was a kid, which a Challenger was daily driver back then and the "old POS" to people looking at it. I also have to spend more because of driving habbits. The TDs stop and turn, last time I was driving the Challenger I was blowing through stop signs and sliding towards ditches, thinking I was driving slow It is REALLY HARD to jump out of a 12 second GLHS with 11" brakes into a 440 challenger. They both go much the same straight, but you have to drive the Challenger like your on ice. Stopping distance and turning

Your to be building so many gas eating V8s when gas is nearly $4 a gallon Need to build a TD so you can have a real nice driver too. Maybe a SRT 4 atleast?

I may drive the 87 GLHS down now if I get the clutch changed. she rattles lol. But we also have record snow now
