Grove Creek is eighth mile, not enough room to ever go 1/4 mile on the property.

A Ninja 1000 that goes 205?!? Must have a TON of work done to it...My '87 Hurricane 1000 was the fastest production bike that year, and new it topped at 160 to 165, depending on which magazine test you read.
Bike won't go that fast now...Don't ask me how I know, teehee.

Well, at 205. you won't feel any pain when you get killed.
The meeting was good. There were 6 of us there. Jim, Paul, Ryan, Kirt, Bryan and me. I took a few pictures of our cars before we left. I'm pretty sure everyone though (knew) I was crazy. The wind was really blowing and it was cold. But then I guess you already knew that. LOL.
Everyone drove a Mopar. Ryan was the only one that had a turbo though. We had most of the Mopar line though. Dakota, Shadow, Sundance, PT Cruiser, Spirit (turbo) and Daytona.

The blue car is the coolest looking one.

Anyone want some auto show tickets? I can try to get some. They're free and typically only good for Tuesday-Wednesday...

I am working March 18. Usually busy that time of the week.

I'm not sure what I'm doing March 18th. Hopefully it's a bit warmer and I've got a few cars running by then.
What are you in town for Ty?

We either need a blizzard, or spring...I'm getting sick of this cold with all the snow going south!!
Pretty good meeting...I'de go back to Granite City for the food.

Hey Paul!
My truck has a 4.7 V8 with all the air restrictions removed and a second gear that will get me to 82mph. After 40mph it takes more than a turbo to keep up!! LOL
Unfortunately the upgraded cams don't help till about 3000rpm, and I get a lot of tire spin, so 0-30 speeds aren't so great.
If I still have this truck in a year or so, I am thinking of pulling the heads, shaving, porting and polishing them with better cams. I already have the upgrade exhaust in the shed (2.5" tru-dual, mandrel, set-up). Then I'de just need headers and be running about 300hp and 400-450lb ft tq.

I'll take spring myself. I have too many repairs on most of my cars to stay couped up. That food was pretty good. I'd go back again.

Bryan, I'm glad you took 252 back (At least I believe that was you I saw on the East River Rd. exit off of 610.) I took East River Rd. from 694. I always wanted to know which way was faster or if they were pretty close. I think either way takes almost the same exact amount of time.

Hahaha. It took me a full minute to figure out what just happened in that picture, then I finally realized there were two Sundances in it. I shoulda known you whipped out the clone brush again!
I took East River road, too. Hmm. I was way behind. I decided to visit a retired co-worker while I was in the area.

Bryan, your truck is significantly faster than the 4x4 '00 Dakota I test drove many years ago. But you owe me a rematch because you already moved to the other lane and was already blasting my ass into the past before I knew what was going on.

But beware-- in about a month and a half, I'll have twin turbo's and to assist in the "keeping up"....

The '00 Dakota had a 4 speed auto. The 5 speed auto didn't come around till the late '01s, and the Grand Cherokees. The 5 speed has a second, second gear that the computer uses for passing. The Superchips tuner that I got makes it use that gear during WOT, so it shifts to second around 40mph and into third around 80mph. I don't know what time it gets to third, because I've never gotten that far...lol.

I am hoping to go to Show and Go this year, so you can get your second chance there...
