Everyones welcome Dan! It would be great to have you there. Myself, I probably won't be there since my job has me work 'til 4pm minimum on Saturdays. I may show if I get out at 4 and the weather is good and clear. I'm in the north metro area and work up there too, so it's not easy to make it at reasonable time.

Long shot but hear goes, does anyone have any GLHS radiator hoses or intercooler hoses they are interested in selling? I need a pair of rad. hoses for sure and am looking at Omni Potent unless i can luck into something local. Also if anyone is interested i have a complete t-2 wiring harness out of a 86 TurboZ. Harness has what looks like a factory wiring t-2 conversion just like a GLHS harness and a external map sensor already done

Yes, welcome Dan come on in. The poolhall is a pretty nice place and should be a good time. Hmmm come to think of it my work is about 7 minutes from the poolhall and thats wear my Omni is. Maybe i should rent a pool table, buy some beer and we can all shoot pool, have the meeting and work on my car at the same time. Sounds good to me.

Hey Guys.
I'm in the market for a "known" good 555. It's for my Lancer. I'd prefer an '89. Does anyone have something they'd want to part with? Let me know what you have and the price. Also, does anyone know anything about these trannys? Mine makes a whining noise in first. Then relatively quiet in the rest of the gears. It does make other strange sounds but first sounds nothing like any other TD tranny I've ever heard. And I've ruined a few 555's! LOL
Give me a call. I won't be able to pick it up right away. I just worked 7 days in a row and may do at leat 12 more.

763-227-9304 Call anytime. Seriously, I stay up very, very late.
Thanks everyone.
Bob

Bob, you might want to look into getting yours rebuilt. It would be better to have the original numbers matching trans in such a rare car anyways.

I may open it up and look at it. I have a couple/few 555's here. At least two are 89's. I may be able to fix it with what I have. I just wanted one I could throw in fast if need be. I don't have a lot of time to work on anything and I don't trust the R/T while the Lancer is layed up.
The car is rare, but isn't that nice that originallity would be that big of a deal. I was talking to Eric a few minutes ago about his 555. LOL. It would be funny to buy that one back again. I already bought it 14+ years ago.

I guess we should have reminded you Jim (lol)! You missed a good time. Nice place. Too far a drive down to the south metro? Hehe just kidding. I heard you had some vehicle issue. Me too, I showed up in a Geo metro convert. Ultimate MN winter car...I was out on a test drive after repairing.

I would have rather been down there having fun. The weekend before I was going to change out the rear shocks. I started on the first bolt and it snaped right off. So I stopped since I figured the other one would snap as well. So I've been waiting to get over to my friends shop and put it up on the lift to swap out the shocks. Of course saturday when I was on my was down I went over a bridge and the whole back end was all over the place. i'm like what the hell was that? Pulled over and seen that the top of the shock was no longer attached at all, so I turned around and drove it to my friends house going around 52 mph since anything faster than that it was all over the road. We broke 3 out of 4 bolts (on the top of the shock) so we had to drill out the old bolts and rethread them. Sure was alot easier on the lift then trying to do it on the ground. But it still sucked!
