Anybody want a rebuilt power rack from a 89 daytona 75 bucks? Both cv shafts 75 bucks? Left low mileage wheel bearing 20 bucks? Radiator 50 bucks? Converting mine to rwd. From 2.5 non turbo auto. I need 90 and up front suspension bad. Im out by Hutchinson.

I'm pretty sure the 1990 suspension was the same as 1989. It was not until 1991 that they went to the setup where the caliper brackets were separate and they had cast control arms instead of stamped steel.

But that won't be tough to find even 20 years later. I just threw away a 1994 Sundance with that front suspension setup.

Car has been a pain to get the parts for. I always have to order parts for an 88 and a 90. Then match up the parts.

The parts books are all messed up for these cars as well as aftermarket wiring diagrams. For example, in 1991, if you specify that you have 15" wheels for the car, you are going to get the 11" brake parts, when in fact the wheel size has no correlation to what the car is supposed to get. If you want the small brakes, you must specify 14" wheels regardless of actual wheel size(my Lebaron has 16" wheels with small brakes from the factory). If you have 15" steel wheels, the bigger brakes will not fit inside the rim, so go figure. If you specify that you have rear disc, you get the big brakes when in fact if you had solid rear discs, you have the smaller brakes. If you have VENTED rear disc, then you have the big brakes, but the computer never asks if you have solid or vented.

So, yes, things are messed up. The last 1990 model I junked out, I was going to take the brake setup off of it, but I couldn't since it was still the old(er) school suspension setup.

My old Spirit R/T has changed hands a couple times since I sold it to a friend back in June. The newest owner has already put a quarter panel on and will be painting in less than a week. At least that's the plan as of a few days ago. I'm glad it went to someone that's bringing it back to it's former glory. I miss that car. It was fun to drive.

Guys - has there been any more thought put into hosting the next SDAC national event? I know I haven't been involved much, but I'd like to change that. I'd be willing to check into track rentals, etc.

Oh yeah - I need a turbo Dodge again too. The Shelby Dakota kinda doesn't count.
Anyone want a 393rwhp LS1 Camaro?

The biggest challenge is renting a track for the racing events. Cost and availability is the hurdle. There's a thread going on the other forum. It may be too late for 2013, but maybe 2014 is possible.

That would be pretty cool to have it here, but I have enough problems just planning out the trip to wherever it's held. I don't have the desire myself to put the time in, to bring something like that here. Or the ability. LOL
Is there a 2013 event location yet?
