No actually, it's in St. paul. That Minneapolis location is new. They just built it over the last year.
The St. Paul location has been around for a million years (give or take a few) and they do a nice business on the weekends. That's the whole reason people still cruise University Ave. in St. Paul. About 10 years ago, there was a list of the top cruising spots in the country (I believe it was car Craft magazine) and University Ave. was in the top 10. But since then, they made sure you couldn't park on the street on Friday and Saturday nights between like 6pm to 2 am? I can't remember for sure. There use to be hundreds of cars and people all up and down the street near Porky's. Lawn chairs and families. Really a good time. Now there's a fraction of the action going on there and a woman that runs Porky's is totally stupid and drives people away.

We're going to meet at the Osceola, WI. car show. (Wheels and Wings) That's on September 6th. A Saturday. It's a great car show. Three of us were there last year. There's a great mix of cars there. The nice thing about that show is it's free. Can't beat the price for showing a car. Plus, you get a goody bag too! Hopefully, we can get more FWD car's there this year.

Haha, funny thing is we never tried swiching places. Most people could tell us apart too good. I'm trying to figure out a way to make both. If we skip the ceramony and go to the reception we could make both. The ceramony is at 2 so if we leave at like 11:30 or something we should make that too. I don't know we will figure it out as it come closer. We first have to have a working TD to make it there.

So I picked up another Daytona today, It is a 89 Daytona ES T1 5 speed car. Needs work and could use some different paint. I think one of the previous owners spray painted the car, but the interior is really clean. I'm going to make it my new daily driver.

Anyone want to pick up an '87 Shelby Z with a crazy piston knock? Couple hundred bucks takes it.

Yes, it's the one I sold to my buddy. He put a bunch more money into it and then ignored the oil pressure guage. He beat the crap out of the car, ran it hard with no oil pressure and messed it up bad...Topped off with a small fire on the block. No fire damage done.
The car still starts and runs (ofcourse Venolias!), but makes a terrible noise. A555 tranny is great, but the linkage is a little goofy (tight from third to fourth).
The motor is bored to the max, and the head's cam caps are stripped...it needs a new long block.
Body is in great shape, new suspension, brakes, and clean interior. Worth a fortune in parts!

Here are some pictures of my newest toy! Picked it up from the Snap On Tools guy through my work. $650 brand new. It's just a toy for now, I'm not going to hang on to it for very long. I already have some guys that want it for thier kids.
Sure is fun!
It's really small...My head sticks out the roll bar, and I pretty much hug my knees. It sure is a blast though and does a little over 30mph, maybe pushing 40 in the right circumstances, with me on it.
