Hey Ty, I don't have anything myself. What type of parts are you looking for? There's still a lot of Shadow's and Sundances showing up at salvage yards. I like to go there once a week if I can.
We wouldn't hold it against you if you drove the "Other" Shelby to our meeting this Saturday.

It's alive and is now sitting in my garage in Eagan (it was in Blaine). I miss driving this car, I have to fix the exhaust though. It should be at this months meet, since I won't be getting a new car yet.

YES, the oil in the driveway is from this damn car.
I'm gonna drive it to the meet, then the head comes off!!

That really looks really nice. I'd keep it if I were you. But then, I keep all my cars. Kind of a problem of mine. Where's the oil leaking from? Valve cover?

I may be late to the meet, I will hopefully be checking out a GLH that I have been trying to look at for the past month or so. It has been sitting for a while so I don't know what to expect.

No, there is so much pressure in the crank case that it's blowing the dip stick and spraying it out! After a hard run the underside of the hood is just dripping.
Pistons 1 and 3 show about 50psi compression. I'm gonna pull the head, and if need be replace the pistons...or atleast the rings.
Soul - I'm going to replace the struts, shocks, brakes, possibly tie rod ends, fix the blow by, polish it really nice (I am a detailer), and I'm hoping for 3K. I might start it higher and go for best offer, but I havn't really thought out that far. I'm hoping I can get a decent amount for it because it will be the fund to get my '89 painted...
Either way, I have to fix the blow by.
Bob, I know what you're saying...A small part of me is saying that when it's running well, and all polished, I'll be hooked to it and not be able to sell it.
If it gets good millage, it wouldn't hurt to park the truck for a while. My truck is less than 100 miles from 84,000. Thats my baby and the miles are rackin' up fast.
This weather BLOWS!!! It's the middle of frickin' April and we won't even be able to stand outside for the meet. I am so sick of this crap, it just won't go away!!!!
Somebody make me a drink!!

I may not have a turbo vehicle there this time again after all. Weather is partially to blame. I'll have another errand to run while I am over in that side of the cities that requires a vehicle with some towing capabilities.
Speaking of which, I now own a tow dolley so if anyone wants to borrow it and promise that it'll be in good hands, let me know.

Tell me about it. I'm back home from standing in Brookdales parking lot. Ready to go back again. (3rd trip) My wife's Tracker won't start. I don't know what's wrong with it. I can't believe how fricken windy it is. Raw, cold, damp, windy weather and I'm out in a parking lot working on something I know nothing about. I was hoping it was the computer since I replaced that a few years ago and have a couple extras. But after installing one, it wouldnt start. Hard one to pull from the dash too. Maybe it was bad or needs to be bolted down to be grounded. I don't know, but I'm at home grabbing the other extra one.
The Daytona, if stock is a good 30 MPG car on the road. At least 10 years ago when gas was a bit better. (My opinion) We use to get 30 average on 3000-6000 mile road trips, no matter what type of turbo 5-speed FWD Mopar.
