Hey guys I am hoping to have my '86 GLH turbo finished by Mopars in the park. Regardless if it is ready, my brother and I will probably be there to check out some of the awesome cars.
|
  |
Hey 1986GLH, Did you happen to buy that GLH from Waverly, MN? That looks like the one I saw a while back sitting in a parking lot off HWY 12. From Florida. If so, Do you want to buy a pair of real nice red Omni buckets?
Brad, I may have the calipers and brackets around here, but would have a heck of a time trying to find them. I don't have time to look for them at this time. The garage is full and I'm taking a break from painting in the house.
If you plan on keeping that car for a while, you may want to upgrade to minivan front brakes. You'd just need to get a number "4" master cylinder. Night and day difference from the "substandard" Shelby Charger brakes.

Actually Bob that is the one, I bought it back in November. I payed a little too much for it but it doesn't have any rust and the paint is fresh but when I got it the car hardly ran and leaked fluids everywhere.
So how much for the red seats? It could use some new ones. The drivers side has a nice rip.

I thought so. I saw the seat cover on that drivers seat and figured it was shot. I even have the phone number of the seller stuck to the side of the computer. I was always going to call him and see if they wanted to buy the seats. I never did though.
I'd take $50.00 for the pair. I don't have pictures at the time, but can get some soon. There's 3 small spots where it looks like a cigarette melted the drivers seat. Not bad at all. The passenger seat looks great. They came out of a car that had maybe 110,000 miles on it. But was probably garaged a lot because even the window scrapers were in great shape. It's not easy to find soft rubber scrapers on an old car. I only wish they were the right color for my Horizon. That car has 45,000 on it and the seats aren't as nice.

Seems like everyone is doing home improvements... including myself. This Saturday, I'll have either a white Stealth or a red Lebaron convertible. If nothing goes right this week, it'll be a green Grand Prick.
There's no guarantee that I'll be there. I really should stay home and get stuff done around here on Saturday/Sunday.... In a way, I am hoping for rain this Saturday...

Well I guess pictures would be nice, but right now my money is going into the motor to make it run right. The car has 63k on it but being it was from Florida everything is dry and cracked. We replaced alot of the window trim already from one of the parts cars.

Hey who has a white Spirit R/T in Elk River? I was cutting through a neighborhood and seen the R/T and a regular white Spirit in a driveway.

I don't know. Who has the white "Beat up" Spirit R/T in Crystal? I saw that a few weeks ago while out and about. It was sitting at a Meineke shop or something like that.

Maybe it's the same car??

That may have been it. This thing was dented up and I believe the roof may have been rusty. The first thing I thought when you said "some old guy" was, "Older than us"?

Some days I feel ALOT older than I look, too
|
  |
That's me everyday. I have so many aches and pains now. A guy at work asks me what I'm going to do when I'm his age. He's 9.5 years older than me.
