She lives!!!! She started under her own power this morning all be it with a sputter and a turning on of the Check Engine Light. The MAP sensor line was leaking. After I corrected it, she purred like a cat and I didn't even have to touch the distributor to get it to start! Now the vacuum lines aren't pretty (I was just trying to get it running. I'll make it look better later.) but she runs great. I just have an overboost problem to figure out. She has an appointment to get the exhaust donut leak straightened out and I'll have to get her to the alignment shop in the next day or so. She needs a bath badly too! I'm just so happy that I was able to complete my first major mechanical work on my own (okay, I had a little help from a few friends but I did do most of the work!) including the headgasket, turbo swap from Mitsu to Garrett, the new trans installation, and the intercooling. "thumbs up

Hey

Looking forward to this weekend. I am working my a$$ off on the 91 Spirit r/t. It is currently waiting for a snap ring and 5 spd nut for the trans. I should have them by Thursday. And I am also waiting for an aluminum plug for the head. I don't want to show up with an wood dowel stuck in the head.
Then I have to go out of town weds and hopefully I will be back friday night.
But if I cant drive the r/t Ill be there in something.

Andy

To the best of my knowledge, no turbo Dodges were hurt in the tornado. "thumbs up The roller skating rink and a Mack truck shop a mile south from the Plant had the buildings destroyed.
