So it looks like 10 so far and maybe 13 if Spooling Dodge comes and if MOBYRICH's friend and wife comes. I'm trying to get Mike (flybyuin2.2) to come but he's been busy.
Looks like I can get the GOOD burgers then, since only 10 people are coming. Larry now we can get Pepsi and Coke instead of CHEK cola.....LOL. Hell maybe Shrimp on the Barbie. LOL Watch how more show up now! J/K on the Shrimp.

Come on guys Free Food, forcast of great weather, Beach, plus Turbo dodges what more can you ask for.

Kevin

Sweet ....looks like we got a pretty good crowd if everyone shows up. 13 I think. Looks like I'll be bringing the CSX. I fixed the starter but the car is still not done. Looks good though. I'm going to try to put on the window decal and side decals if time permits.

Well what's to say...Larry (4sfed4) and myself decided to get the local TD owners together @ a time that is resonalble for most. Friday nights are hard for many and Saturday alot of people work.
You all have been very helpful to me in restoring my CSX. There's going to be food and drinks, you know hotdogs and hamburgers and all the fixings provided by Larry and I. It''s @ howard Park and Figured it's just a time to meet and greet (hence the name) fellow TD'ers. Have a good time and BS and kick tires..Hopefully if it goes well maybe we can do more like this. I hope you can join us even though it's a 3.5- 4 hour trip. By the way what are the wheels? Are they new or new to you?

OK..Larry just scoped out a nice site. It's going to be next to Shelter 6 (not in Shelter 6 that's reserved). The area is near the restrooms, beach, and has nice shade. Follow signs to Shelter 6 if you go across the causeway you have gone to far. I'll probably have a straw cowboy hat on so look for me.

***A reminder please don't speed through the area it's a family park with kids running around and such. We can get on it on US 19.:big grin: I'm sure you all understand. Festivities start @ 10 AM. Look forward to seeing you all there....DON'T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN

Directions again:

From U. S. Highway 19 or Alternate 19: Traveling north on U.S. Highway 19 or Alternate 19 trun left on Klosterman Road and go to Carlton Road. Turn Right on Carlton Road and go to the stop sign turn left onto Curlew Place. Go to the next stop sign, which is Florida Avenue, and turn right. Go 2 miles to the red flashing light and turn left onto sunset Drive (which dead-ends into the park.)

Hope to see lot of you guys on Sunday! Ill be there a tad early (around 9AM), to stake our claim on the location. My father will also be coming in early with me to get things set up so just look for two Spirit R/T's (one white and one red). That should be a pretty distinctive landmark as thats probably about50 % of the Pinellas county R/T population

Also, if anyone likes to swim, there is a beautiful beach in the park.

I wont be able to make it down and the 4+hour drive has nothing to do with the reason ... the fact that I have $29 to my name till next Friday does.

as for the new wheels, 1994 Ford Escort LX, 52pd, 2dr, 160k, blah blah blah .. pad almost 1000 less than the window said .. blah blah blah, it is nt as fun to drive as my le baron

The meet went really GOOD. We had total of 8 TD's show up the weather was great. I personally met alot of Class act guys. You all missed a great get together. We stayed till 5.
We had show up

87 GLHS
86 Blue and Silver Charger
86 CS Daytona
Another Real nice red Daytona (don't know the year)
3 Spirit R/T 2 red and 1 white
87 CSX

By the way all the cars looked great.

My car started to have problems when I got there. (never fails someone has to break down, right) We thougt it was Coil. After 2.5 hrs of trouble shooting it was the Fuel pump no power to it. Always forget the obvious it's loud enough(255 pump). We have 100+ pics I will post on a website once I get them. We have some great line up shots.

I want to personally Thank Larry, Larry Sr.,Rich and his friend for helping me with my car. Larry thanks again so much for helping at night and storing my car in your garage. Still not running.

Look forward to the next meet. Hopefully either a Dyno day or maybe Old Town or whatever. Look for the pics soon.

Yes! It was an excellent time! Thanks to all for attending!

We are already starting to plan for the next event. Based on the interest yesterday, it appears a dyno day may be in order.
