I may have a functional motor in the spirit in a week or 2. I will put the turbo back on and not more then 5 psi boost. I need the turbo otherwise I dont have a way to hook up to my exhaust, and I dont want to drive around running open manifolds n/a......Wow thats loud and sounds bad. Headache.

Well guys, I'm back. I've been going through some hectic times lately, and haven't been able to get on the site. Anyways, my CSX-T is running like mexican, good and fast! J/K if anyone is offended by that. As most of you know I had a pretty bumpy road back in July. I blew the head, come to find out my head had 7 deep cracks in it. Then when I was putting on the new one the troubles wouldn't stop. To much too metion in this post. But after about 1 month she was back in action. Anyways I hope to hear from you guys!!

Lucky. Im going to pick up my new duster tomorrow morning. Hopefully Ill be able to swap the 3.0 in the trunk of that car into my spirit and get it running within a week. Not having a car makes it hard to.....fix your car. Ill install the turbo setup on the spirit again so I can have an exhaust (wont hook up without the downpipe). and work on the rebuild of my current 3.0 motor. Im going with a .096 overbore, 7.5:1 compression forged venolias. Im currently looking for a compressor upgrade because the to4e's dont flow enough air. looking for a gt42 compressor, or a t-61 setup.
Also bought an intake manifold from a mitsubishi car that I am going to modify to make a short running Log manifold.
The chrysler plenum was giving me a lean condition in cylinders 5&6 (the back of the plenum cylinders). Not getting a good air distribution.

The duster will be very fast this next season if I get it running. It will hopefully be under 2400# with me in it. Goal is to run a 130mph trap speed on pump gas.
3.15L v6 20 psi, 2400# wheeee! Im gonna see about turning my spirit into a tow car.

Hopefully with a running car I can leave the house finally. I seriously havent been anywhere but school and the grocery store in over a month.

I got the car. Now I need to pull off a couple engine swaps.

Ive got an extra turbo motor now, harness, and ecu. Not sure what to do with this stuff. No turbo or intake manifold (they were t2 parts that he sold off).

Anyone want my engine?

Ive got a turbo motor here and I have no use for it. Its missing an oil cap, and there are no bolts holding down the valve cover (I think the previous owner had shelby stuff he removed to sell. It was a t2 swap project that never worked out (electical problems).

I might be interested in it. Tell me what you want for it. I have a shelby-z that needs a bottom end. Do you know if it was running? Maybe we can trade straight across for a ride in my car 8-D. Just let me know.

not very much.

The motor is supposed to be good, and the head is in good shape.

The car had electrical problems because the owner was trying a t2 swap.
50 bucks? There is no flywheel (i need it), and like I said, it needs an oil cap and some bolts for the valve cover. It also doesnt have a distributor car. Tell me if thats too much.
I would like to not have this thing hanging around.
Im hopefully buying a cherry picker this tuesday (cause rental places screwed me this weekend).

I'll be glad to take the head off your hands if it is a TII 89+ head.

That would be brett lindsey. If you do a search for "Brett Lindsey" and "Shelby" you should be able to find it, but the site was mainly just to sell of his collection. there isn't anything left now.
