so im driving back from the dodge dealership after getting some crap when i hit a set of lights and a newer boxter pulls up beside me. 2 older guys in it. i never payed much attention to them and they never realy did more than glance at what was making the huge rumbling sound beside them. i had no real intention of racing and when the light turned we both just took off at our regular paces. then just through the lights i figure, ah, why not. (by this time im about half a car behind him) so i put the pedal down about 80% and get 15psi boost. (why i didnt totaly floor it, i have no idea, stupidity!) they hear the roar and realise somthing is up so he slams on it at almost the exact same time. we stayed dead even (im still a half car back mind you) till we both let off after about a block and a half. i was impressed with my van! i never pulled on him and he never pulled on me. i didnt know what to expect from a boxter but none the less, im proud of my van. i bet with 18psi and the pedal to the floor i could have pulled beside him and crawled past. im sure he would have been pissed!
he looked like oneof those guys who is VERY proud to own a Porsche and you can see it in his face.

funny you talk about my suspention so lightly! i have lowerd front end, struttower brace, doubled front sway bar with end links, dodge 1 ton shocks out back, and 1 1/8" rear sway bar with solid end links. i could have paced him in a couple corners im sure!! a few anyway! =)

Props. The guys in the boxter were probably more impressed with your van than you were.

haha, you must have hurt his ego there... also, cornering... usually it ends up being the better driver who gets the win there since most ppl aren't very skilled at taking corners anyway.

Yah that van does handle pretty sweet man I've experienced it first hand but I would say ride ability has been sacraficed a bit though. Another thing that suspension does is help it launch pretty good to.

ya, its scary to hit a bump at 100 thats for sure! some times i think it could clear about 4 feet without the back end touching the road hitting a man hole at that speed!
