Buddy with a nice prelude wants to race. . .

ok, so my buddy has a prelude thats pretty damn nice and sounds pretty mean. it takes off the start pretty good, but i just wanna be sure my car will hold up before racing and risking a ticket. cops friggin swarm this area! im runnin a 91 shelby daytona 2.5l with a garrett stage 2 turbo, k&n air filter, Eagle talon stock intercooler, 12lbs of boost, 3-speed auto, 2 3/4" exhaust w/ a glass pack n no catt. please help, i dont wanna start my rep by bein beat by a friggin honduh! :(

Who did the work to your car?
What is done to the Prelude?
Why not go to a track if your scared of a ticket and cop issue's?
This isn't the Fast & the Furious, your 'rep' isn't important.

As long as it isnt a dohc vtec you should smoke him no problem.
And really if it is a stock vtec that shouldnt matter anyways.
Bump your boost upto 14 psi (better have a good aftermarket boost gauge), get a good launch, and if you are any good at racing then you should smoke him no prob.

you should have no problem with that car. shift your auto manually and you should have a better pull too. i always got better times at the track when shifting my 3 speed manually.. but dont over shift it ;)
